This is a simple place with a menu mostly devoted to waffles. Waffles, waffle sandwiches, waffle desserts. They really do a pretty good job with them. I tried the Monte Cristo (basically a Monte Cristo without the egg dip and with jalapeño raspberry jam), the Breakfast Sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese with a waffle for a bun), Goat Cheese Waffle (as described) and the Velvet Elvis with bacon, obanana and peanut butter. They have fruit or chips as sides. Beverage options are coffee drinks or canned soda. The place is very small inside, and if it is poorly ventilated so it smells like cooked waffle and a little grease and smoke. This is definitely a better summer option when you can sit outside. Not bad by any means but somewhat limited.

Waffles were perfect, love the doughyness of them! Also made for excellent breakfast sandwiches and desserts. Wife had the Benedict, and it was huge! Will definitely be back soon.

Only get to go here once a year when we celebrate our anniversay, but we love it! There should be a store at MOA, think it would do very well & we could go there more often!?

Charming breakfast/coffee spot with plenty of outdoor seating under the pines just off the lake. The menu offers a wide variety with pretty much everything, as expected, on a waffle. Take this into consideration when making your selection as a sweet waffle doesn’t necessarily pair well with everything. Service was superb. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Worst breakfast I ever had waffle under cooked tasted terrible. I thought food came awful fast. ? I rather have a sausage McMuffin at McDonald's then to eat there again.
It was super busy however our food came out super fast. Very good. Higher price, but for this beautiful area it's expected.

Absolutely love this place. It will be a stop on every visit to Nisswa. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, the breakfast sandwiches are flavorful and delicious, and the dessert waffles are a sight to see. We had the banana cream one, and it was excellent.

Cute spot. Staff was nice, but not too friendly. Food was pretty bad and me and my mom were not impressed. Waffles were thick, doughy, and not fully cooked. Mine was also a bit grainy, like the flour hadn’t been mixed fully. Mom did the breakfast sandwich with ham which looked like cheaper store bought ham and was lukewarm. The chicken for mine appeared it was cooked in a waffle iron but we didn’t notice any waffle irons. They also used microwaves a fair amount, but I didn’t manage to see what part(s) of our meal was microwaved. They also used the microwave for the guy after us. Add in the price for the amount of food, we’re not going back.Coffee may be good though? We didn’t try the coffee.
