This is a simple place with a menu mostly devoted to waffles. Waffles, waffle sandwiches, waffle desserts. They really do a pretty good job with them. I tried the Monte Cristo (basically a Monte Cristo without the egg dip and with jalapeño raspberry jam), the Breakfast Sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese with a waffle for a bun), Goat Cheese Waffle (as described) and the Velvet Elvis with bacon, obanana and peanut butter. Charming breakfast/coffee spot with plenty of outdoor seating under the pines just off the lake. The menu offers a wide variety with pretty much everything, as expected, on a waffle. Take this into consideration when making your selection as a sweet waffle doesn’t necessarily pair well with everything. Service was superb. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
