I’m so, SO happy my daughter and I got our lunch here yesterday. You know how sometimes, once in a great while, food transports you to another place, gives you an emotional experience? That was this place. I’m always that person who is adverse to trying new places (I love routines!), but this was the absolute BEST new experience we have had in a long while and I cannot wait to go back!
Ordered a dozen pork tamales with red sauce for Christmas Eve dinner. Reheated them and started to dig in. Only to realize that it’s all vegetarian with no sauce after everyone started to eat them. Don’t even think you could call them vegetarian tamales as there was only a couple slices of veggies and mostly masa. Hardly any flavor at all.
Tossed the ones we started to eat and kept the rest. Called them after the holiday weekend to let them know and hoping to get replacement...read full review
