“My family and I were wanting dinner after just enjoying a movie at the theater. Being Christmas day, I thought there would be no chance of this anywhere near. We were surprised to find the Hideaway coffee house open. Even more surprising, they apparently do a free meal every Christmas! Even though it was close to their closing, they welcomed us in, all with smiles and cheerfulness! I enjoyed interacting with the staff and the food was delicious! And despite a constant 4 hour flow of people through there, the tables and bathrooms were all clean. This was our first visit but will absolutely NOT be our last! Props to the owners and all the staff who took time on Christmas to do this. Simply heartwarming.“
“I ordered a large strawberry matcha and an Asiago bagel. Both items came out very quick despite the coffee shop being busy, and it was delicious. My total came out to be $10 which is pretty average for the price of coffee. The shop is very urban and rustic, there are many tables so it would make a nice study spot. I will definitely be coming back to Blue Monday!“
“James Gang is truly a hidden gem of Northfield. I can't yet speak to their food, but all the baked goods look absolutely delightful and every latte I have had here has been phenomenal. Service is always fast and I can tell the staff care about making each interaction a good experience. Not to mention the bathrooms are always clean, the seating is always comfortable, and the prices are extremely reasonable, especially in comparison to other coffee shops in Northfield. Overall, there's a really welcoming hometown feel to the place and it's one of my go-to spots for studying with friends.“
“I just had lunch at Raven's Nest Cafe. I had a half grilled cheese and half soup. The grilled cheese was delicious. It had muenster cheese and was grilled perfectly. The soup was provincial white bean which was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. The cafe is inside a bike shop which adds cool vibe to the ambiance. Highly recommend.“
“The Vault is one of the best places in the area! They have fantastic coffee and food - plus I tried their coffee flights the other day and they were awesome! Also, I had them cater a company holiday party for me and everything they made was soooo tasty! Don’t forget about their drive through if you’re in a hurry too. Definitely have to check out this place if you’re nearby!“
“Enjoyed a warm bowl of Roasted Tomato Basil soup that was pretty delicious. Great lunch spot to grab a hoagie or a pita sandwich. Plenty of seating and the booth/tables are quite charming with high antique ceilings. Orders are brought to you using oversized laminated playing cards.“
