“Their menu is the most diverse of Stillwater's Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff and Large portions. Their Refried beans are more flavorful than most I've tried.

Parking: Easy to find a handful of vegetarian options. Has corn and wheat tortillas interchangeable. Excellent tamales with mole.“

“Unfortunately, you were tied to corporate, making you use the kiosks.

It was a little frustrating because I placed my order and 2 people placed their orders after me. Hang up received there food before me. Because there was no one at the counter that could take my cash. So my order was pushed behind everybody theater two.“

“This place is awesome! The food is amazing and the portions are insane! Get the tinga torta to get your La Maria Taqueria journey started, or the burrito, or the birria, or the sopas, or the quesadilla... you can see where I'm going with this. It's a total surprise in such a small area to have such affordable, delicious, wonderfully crafted Mexican food. The staff is friendly and hard working, and the horchata is real and sooo good! Best work lunch spot!“

“It is a small authentic mexican restaurant with great and flavorful meats and freshly made sauces. The highlight was the super espada, a super long taco inside a thin corn tortilla. Rice and beans were good too. I do not recommend the gorditas or the enchiladas (not pictured) because those corn tortillas literally crumbled in our hands and they were too soft.“

“I loved it. I got the 3 tacos (asada y chorizo) with rice and beans and it was greattt! Coming from somebody who eats authentic food a lot the tacos were great especially compared to other Mexican restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful and I would come back again!“

“By far one of the best Mexican food truck gems in MN!! They are consistent in generous portion sizes, great customer service, & the flavors are superior. Everything is great & you cannot make a wrong choice!!! The birria tacos, burritos, tamales, quesadillas, etc....so SO good and I couldn't recommend them enough!!! Maria is a gem of her own, & her food is something I could eat every day and never get tired of it!! It's been a blessing I work less than a mile from the food truck & the company i work for LOVES bringing business here!! We allll love it & grateful they're right next to us! They have even catered some of our work events and always request La Maria's!!!!“

She was super attentive even though the restaurant was very busy she still made our group a top priority. “Food was great and everyone working there was helpful and kind. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I thought the prices were extremely high, and don't get me wrong you get very large portions of food but for two adults to eat at on the kitchen cost almost $70.00 thats crazy. When your food doesn't even get brought to you and you're responsible for dumping your plastic tray that the food comes on I'm just saying for $70 I should have been seated at a table and brought my food by a waiter At Least LOL but all in all I probably would either again because I did enjoy my food and everybody working there was cool!“

“Always be sure to check for sauce packets or ask for more when they give you your food. Sometimes you get none, sometimes you get different sauces (mild or hot instead of fire), sometimes you get too few (1 sauce pack per taco???) or sometimes you get the right amount at this location.“

“1st time ever being to a Taco John's it was fine nothing fancy reminded me of taco mayo so of course I had to try the taco salad it was perfect adequate. We ordered at the kiosk the staff could not remember to give any of us drinks with our orders and then acted dumbfounded when we asked for them and then forgot a fork for the taco salad and there is none out eith the drinks. Oh also the their original taco sauce is trash it was like watered down catsup their hot and Diablo were good though.“

“food is good, the store i had my experience in Shoreview was very clean and organized. I do not care for the chips, they are a little plain in my opinion, but everything else is good! hoping for location in Woodbury or Cottage Grove area.“
