“Lulu’s is a true neighborhood gem! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is beyond delicious. The gordita and alambre are absolute standouts, and everything else we have enjoyed here is delicious too. We love having this place in our neighborhood and hope it stays for a long time!“

“I went twice during the insane "ICE" terror. First, to support a business then second because the food was excellent. The owner and workers there were so nice and pleasant despite the horror they were living through. I so much hate these gestapo raids on our immigrant communities. The Trump administration and all ice "employees" should be so ashamed of these tactics. They have hurt a lot of families and working people. I wish I had more disposal income to support this restaurant and many others. I definitely will be going back.“

“Omg, I am so happy I found this place while looking for the best burritos in town. I got the burrito carne asada- which was SO GOOD. Not over done, meat was perfect and loved the avocado inside it. The tortilla was so fresh and delicious as well. Perfectly served with green salsa. The esquite was freaking amazing. Can’t wait to come back for one of the amazing looking dogo hot dogs.
Apparently they also have a location on Cedar Ave in MPLS. Que rico!!!“

“I’d heard this place was known for its incredible carnitas, so I had to see for myself—and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
I ordered three surtido/maciza pork tacos with onions, cilantro, and radish. They asked if I wanted a little extra pork fat on top, and the answer is yes—definitely do it! I also grabbed both the mild and hot salsas.
The tacos came out incredibly fast and were generously loaded with perfectly cooked pork. The first bite was rich, juicy, and packed with flavor. A squeeze of fresh lime and a spoonful of salsa balanced the richness beautifully and brought everything together.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful tacos with generous portions and fast service, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!“

“My human gets out of the car and goes to the truck. She comes back with a plastic disk and then we sit there for a while. The disk buzzes and flashes and the my human goes back to the truck and comes back with the best food ever. I don’t get to eat the goat tacos because they give me the midnight poops but the chicken quesadilla is the best.“

“There are a lot of options for good Mexican food in the twin cities. Habanero has some of the best. Highlights? Breakfast burritos. Pozole. Full bar. Bogo tacos on Tuesdays. They support their community in ways like providing gift cards for fundraisers. For parents: they have two big, clean bathrooms, one with a changing table. They are right next door to michoacana, where your kids’ minds will be blown when they seen the technicolor array of dessert options.“

“My husband and I live 40 minutes away and we specifically drive to this restaurant for the best authentic Mexican ever!
We always eat Beria or fajitas, but we are just there today and we tried two different soups and they were so phenomenal.
The staff is extremely amazing and attentive. It is a great fun vibe and all the local locals have good energy. Highly recommend this place forever. Looking back to go again in the next few days.“

“I almost never post reviews, but I hope the manager or owner sees this one, as this team deserves a bravo! I walked in to dine, and was greeted immediately with a smile and friendly welcome. The restaurant was clean and inviting. More importantly was how the team (working tonight May 14th) worked together and supported each other, including complements to each other on how they communicated and coordinated their efforts to get the food quickly out to the drive thru customers. It was so refreshing to see in a fast food restaurant, and to see that customer experience culture and attitude in each customet interaction. Thanks for hiring a great team here off W 7th Street! Will definitely stop in again. Kudos to you guys that were working tonight.“
