“I ordered for delivery... I am from Southern California & Arizona so I take my mexican food very seriously. The pickled cabbage, the salsa verde, the carnitas was all incredible. I have not had much luck finding real Mexican food since moving here...and am so excited I found this place. This is everything Ive been craving & more. “It is a small authentic mexican restaurant with great and flavorful meats and freshly made sauces. The highlight was the super espada, a super long taco inside a thin corn tortilla. Rice and beans were good too. I do not recommend the gorditas or the enchiladas (not pictured) because those corn tortillas literally crumbled in our hands and they were too soft.“

“By far one of the best Mexican food truck gems in MN!! They are consistent in generous portion sizes, great customer service, & the flavors are superior. Everything is great & you cannot make a wrong choice!!! The birria tacos, burritos, tamales, quesadillas, etc....so SO good and I couldn't recommend them enough!!! Maria is a gem of her own, & her food is something I could eat every day and never get tired of it!! “Their menu is the most diverse of Stillwater's Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff and Large portions. Their Refried beans are more flavorful than most I've tried.

Parking: Easy to find a handful of vegetarian options. Has corn and wheat tortillas interchangeable. Excellent tamales with mole.“

“The tortas, alambres, and tacos are all wonderful! Wanna get full on one taco? - then get the machete. Like the footlong version of the street taco. They also have a nice salsa bar which had onion and sliced radishes, for adding a little heat (or a lot) and crunch.“

“1st time ever being to a Taco John's it was fine nothing fancy reminded me of taco mayo so of course I had to try the taco salad it was perfect adequate. We ordered at the kiosk the staff could not remember to give any of us drinks with our orders and then acted dumbfounded when we asked for them and then forgot a fork for the taco salad and there is none out eith the drinks. Oh also the their original taco sauce is trash it was like watered down catsup their hot and Diablo were good though.“
