“I go to Mela once a week for the Pad Thai, spice level 5. It’s the only time I go out to eat and is a weekly treat. I love them, the staff is always very friendly. I have celiac disease, but have never had an issue with cross contamination. I would say that Mela is both celiac and gluten free safe in my experience and even has vegan options so overall is very dietary restriction friendly. I will say that sometimes it’s less spicy than others, I order level 5 but get what seems like a level 2. I just leave a note in the comments that say I want smoke to come out of ears from how hot it is and then I get the level of spice I’m looking for 😂
It’s fantastic and really the only place I feel I can trust with allergens. I cook everything from scratch and only eat out if I can’t make a better version myself. I recommend them to everyone. I have order once a week since moving to the area in June :)
Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe, never have had an issue with cross contamination in the 6 months I’ve been going here. Vegan friend also goes here and there’s lots of options“

“Been here about a dozen times and it's fantastic. Pineapple curry and samosas are works of art, as are the soups across the board. Wonderful coffee as well.
Avoid the cashew chicken; it has so little flavor even the English would add some spices to it. It's like eating a Michelob Ultra.
Treat yourself right and get a curry instead.“

“Haven’t been here in a long time and picked it up last nite. Highly recommend! All dishes we got were fresh and delicious! My daughter has celiac and sam said anything on the menu can be gluten free, she loved the chicken and broccoli and he even packaged it separately to ensure it was safe for her. Highly recommend!“
“The food is delicious and good service for their customers. I recommend everyone to go support and try their best foods.. especially their pad kaphrao is very tasty 😋 I love it.“

“First time ordering from Ban Thai Restaurant. We did take-out and took them about 30-40 mins to get our food ready.Customer service - my husband went in to order and he felt the service was not the greatest, but it is what it is.I am always searching for the best drunken noodles or better known as Pad Kee Mao. When I saw that Ban Thai make Pad Kee Mao, I had to give them a try. So far it’s good. The flavor is different from others that I’ve had. Their seasonings is their own. But I enjoyed it. The noodles were soft, just how I like them. The only downfall is their pork was a little bit on the drier side. I rate it 4/5 stars. Wouldn’t mind ordering it again tho.Their Bangkok Spring Rolls were okay. I order it with pork. Maybe next time I’ll do their shrimp instead. The sauce was okay too. I had to make my own for me to enjoy it more. They really fill it up with veggies and herbs. I love that it was packed with veggies haha. I rate it 3/5.Beef fried rice was bomb!! My husband thought it had too much black pepper, but once I mixed up the fried rice, you can barely taste just the black pepper. I love that they cut up the beef in thick slices. It’s soft and flavorful. Not too salty. It’s perfect. I rate it 5/5.The cream cheese wonton was not a hit for my little family. My kids love cream cheese wonton, but this wasn’t it for them. It had a good amount of cream cheese filling. But the wrap was more on the soggy soft side. Usually the cream cheese wontons are crunchy. But if you like your wraps soft then maybe this is for you. I rate it 2/5Chicken wings were also not a big hit for us. It’s your typical basic oven baked seasoned with salt n black pepper chicken wings. I mean that’s what I tasted when I took a bite of it. I wanted more flavor to it.Overall, I wouldn’t mind giving this place a second chance. Maybe dine in next time and try their pad thai, pho, and curry selections.“

“Delicious food! I went for lunch with a group of 3. I got the spicy fish, which was lightly breaded in a delicious sauce and I loved it. The others got pad Thai (the best version I’ve tried) and Tom Kah Gai (which I wanted to bathe in). I would love to go back again.“

“The service is prompt and friendly. The food is equally awesome. They just added Spring Rolls to their menu and they are the best I’ve had. Add their perfect peanut sauce and I’m putting this place on my ‘must go to’..“

“the whole experience of hot pot was great! parking was a bit hard and I wish the plates were smaller to fit all foods on the table. I love the sauces, one is spicy/ savory and one is acidic/sweet. great amount of meat! the owner suggest the tricolor so it was good as well. would definitely come back!“

“Their thai boat for me wasn't good they tasted like package noodles. What was great and probably the best in MN to me is their raw larb. They use real pepper, not dry pepper, not chili flakes, real authentic cayenne pepper. 1 out of 5 places I've been to will use real pepper and not just that, they put mint leaves and lemon grass also. A lot of places just throw in cilantro and green onion, maybe red onion TOO. Their lao papaya is good, full of flavor and spice if you ask for it. I would say 4.5/5 overall as my main interest was their thai boat which wasn't for me. Service was great too.“

“This place's foods taste very good!!! I love their boat noodles, Saikrok (may not be on the menu, so u have to tell them u want it), and their other foods! This place may be small, but don't let it doubt u, because this place has the best boat noodle in town compared to other restaurants I've been to. I love it. I am a returning customer always! 🥰♥️“

“It has been years since my wife and I have dined in at DC2. The hype after its first opening seems to have died down. Usually when asked about DC2's food, folks seem to have mixed reviews. So because we were around in the area yesterday, we decided to give it a try to see what has changed. The menu seems about the same, with a few less items. The biggest change is the prices, which definitely is dollars more than it use to. Understanding with economy/inflation, pricing up is eventually going to happen. But is it worth really spending about $5-$10 on dishes where you can go a few blocks over to Hmong Village for cheaper? We ordered the combination pad thai (big noodles), papaya salad (Thai med spicy), and hli xiab (fried pork with tamarind sauce). I was always a big fan of the pad thai sauce from DC2, which seems to be the same as I remember it. However, the noodles are a bit thicker, like chow fun noodles. It was soft, feels homemade, and paired very well with the sauce & meats. The papaya salad was not overly sauced, and tasted very fresh. It had just the right amount of spiciness, sweetness, and sourness for both my wife and I. The hli xiab was a dish we have not tried before, and did very much enjoy. You pick a choice of meat which is stir fried with a sweet tamarind sauce accompanied with bell peppers and onions. There is an option to add spiciness, which we did do. We chose pork which was first fried, then cooked with the sauce and veggies. If you love sweet like in orange chicken, then this is the dish for you!The service was great, much better then I remember it. We were seated immediately, and the waiter was attentive. They also have a call system button now which you can click to ask for something or add things too.Overall, I was very impressed with DC2 and will come again. To go back on my question, I would rather spend few more dollars here then go to Hmong Village.“
