We have always loved bringing our kids to get ice cream @ Tara’s Wharf…….it’s a good way to break up fishing :). Great location to grab a cone and walk the streets of Ranier!
Good ice cream and crispy cones. About as good as it gets.

The cute shop with off-the-beaten-path flavors. Ice cream cones are amazing, with Lemon Bar cone and Licorice flavor. Seating is cute for kids and adults, with plants, lattice shade, bird houses hidden around. Parking is a large gravel lot near the patio. The atmosphere is awesome and the ice cream is top notch. The lines move fairly well on a busy parade day. The lady talk to customers and convinced a child to try something else, then toss Chocolate in a bucket. The location off the dock makes a perfect spot for a post-kayak date. Cash only. Highly recommended! Kids enjoyed the cute bird houses and the lattice shade. A few enjoyed the Licorice flavor. The cute shop is a great stop when in the area.
