I had a fantastic experience at Los Dos Amigos! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish.

I ordered a margarita, and it was absolutely perfect—served ice cold in a salted glass with a fresh lime wedge. It was refreshing and balanced, not overly sweet, just the right amount of tartness. Pairing it with their basket of warm chips and salsa made it even better.

The staff checked in often without being intrusive, and the food came out hot and fresh. Everything felt authentic, flavorful, and made with care.

“My husband having heard about Los Jarritos from a student, we tried it at 11:30 am on a Thursday. We were the only diners in the colorful and brightly lit restaurant with two huge TVs and loud music. The server brought us big glasses of ice water, so we did not order drinks at $4 apiece. We ordered the crispy homemade tortilla chips, which came with a pot of salsa and one of refried beans and queso. Scout pronounced his enchiladas “Delicious …with a lemony taste.” He licked up all his tomatoey rice and beans as well. I enjoyed my torta, a hamburger with a green chile, lettuce, tomato, avocado and bacon. My fries, which I did not order, were excellent. After we were seated I looked up the restaurant and found that one year ago the Rochester City Council had considered putting it on probation after nine “incidents” involving shootings and stabbings. We figured that those must have occurred at night and felt safe.“

“We ordered take out for 7 people and they gave us one bag of chips for 7 and forgot a order when we went to pick up the forgotten order they barely said a word no sorry for the inconvenience or attempt to refund anything. They charge a fee for pick up orders. I will not recommend them or order from there again.“

“My mom and sister and I came in tonight to grab some quick dinner. Our order from the kiosk didn’t go through to the kitchen for some reason and the staff looked on their end and didn’t see anything. Jeremy came out and helped us and insisted on taking our order in person. He was very apologetic and kind. My mom wanted to try something new but wasn’t sure if she would like it. Jeremy took the time to explain all the ingredients and options for substitutions/add-ons, etc. He didn’t act impatient or anything witch often happens in fast food settings, in my opinion. Jeremy brought out our food for us and even checked in on us to make sure everything was right.

“Stopped in after 8 pm. Had a combo of 2 crispy chicken tacos w/ nachos/cheese.
Staff was on it, friendly & i asked for a cup of ranch sauce for my tacos & they allowed me to get that
A few nachos were stale, however, I'm not going to knock the review for that because ,1 it was late Monday, 2 it was near 20 degrees out, & 3 the location is somewhat off of the beaten path .
I especially liked the mild sauce packets as they had a smoky/sweet taste w/ a kick
