Tour was great, cocktail range was amazing - we only had one drink as we generously sipped on the tour. The bottled Negroni was a very interesting, tasty, and complex blend. My wife loves the citrus notes in the gin and we’re anxious to sample the bottled Downtowner as well as the other bottles we purchased?
We went here for a cocktail after dinner. I had the Bowtie on Fire, which was spicy, but well balanced with the tang of lime and sweetness of grenadine. My wife had the French Quarter Smolder, which was very similar to a Sazerac, but with a very nice smokiness from the burnt star anise.The drink menu here is pretty expansive, and we look forward to going back again to try more.The space is not large, and it was pretty busy when we were there on a Friday evening. I've been to Copperwing a few times and have been thoroughly impressed each time. They have a wide array of beverages and the rotate seasonally. I got a strawberry and banana milkshake type beverage that used clarified milk. It was so smooth and sweet but not overpoweringly so. I also got a drink based on the Big Lebowski's favorite - the white russian. It had a coffee foam on top and went down easily! I love trying the new drinks here.
