Black Coffee and Waffle Bar

What a disappointment. First, the prices on the menu online are not correct. I was told they changed prices quite awhile ago and they would not honor the online price that was over $2 cheaper. The place is filthy. Sticky counters, dirty bathrooms full of fruit flies and open soap bottle empty and tipped over on the sink. So hot and uncomfortable. Our food was blah. Soggy waffles and a warm glass of water. I think a call to the health department is in order. I can only imagine what is going on in their kitchen. Y U C K! Stay away!

food was good, huge waffles we definitely could have split only one, and then also, the coffee was good just super super sweet. definitely try this

Their standard latte is a 4-shot 16oz. This is my prefered order at other shops, but here they know that a latte is supposed to taste like coffee, good coffee.

I was served half filled cups of cold coffee and a sad little waffle that was both burnt and raw in the middle.

take yourself off doordash. it's ridiculous how flipping long it takes for 3 waffles and I see other people complaining too. We got it delivered a year ago and now I remember why we don't order it. On an hour now of preparing your order...

Sticky tables, took 45 minutes to get a coffee and an hour later still no food

Very lousy service. We ordered two waffles and took almost an hour for them to bring out only one of them! My girlfriend received her waffle and they took our number away from our table and forgot about mine. I finally got my waffle by the time my girlfriend was almost finished with hers. Also seen other people get their food before us who came in long after we did. Very despicable. Would not recommend.

First time and last time here. Ordered vanilla latte. It tasted sour. Never drank sour tasting latte in my life until now. Ordered two waffles. Waffles took 45 mins to make. And when they came out it was over cooked. And also tasted sour.

Really soggy waffles

Decided to try this place out with my boyfriend since it looked super good, I was very excited to try it out. Both the waffles looked delicious and as I was getting ready to dig in, I come across hair.. Very bad impression and super disappointed as I was excited to try this place out.

I'm new in the neighborhood. I decided Father's Day would be a good occasion to try the waffles here. The only problem was many other people had the same idea, which meant the service was a little slow. Were they understaffed, considering it was a special day? I don't know...
I don't want to say anything bad about the servers because they were really nice and kind. But we were 3 at the table and we didn't get the 3 plates at the same time...and the coffees arrived when we were almost finishing...
Other than that, the food was delicious. We ordered the Loaded Potato, Apple Strudel and Banana waffles. And there was a family-oriented atmosphere that we enjoyed.
Now we need to go back and try all the other flavors! (And maybe on a more quiet day...)

This establishment is incredibly dirty. At least half of it smells of urine and most surfaces feel like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The aged leather could be charming if it wasn’t also sticky.

Amazing waffle, the layout and the aesthetic of the inside , gives me a lived in, homey feeling, for example how the booth's leather is faded and cracked, gives the furniture character.

Very friendly and approachable staff, all around comfortable environment.

This coffee / wafflle house is great!
Definitely will be back to try other waffles on the menu.
