Gus Gus Reviews
Always one of my faves. Service is always good. Great wine list and love to order multiple small dishes for sharing. Personal favorites are the gem salad, tuna, and shishito peppers. My husband loves the cheeseburger and says it’s in the top five burgers in the twin cities. Go you will have zero regrets.
Gus Gus is a cozy, charming little restaurant with a strange atmospheric balance between lively and quiet, making it the location for an intimate dinner, date night, a casual visit, or any other event that happens to draw one from their home and out into the world at large.

Gus Gus is a unique restaurant with an eclectic ambiance, featuring teal walls with black donkey prints and gold or brass accents. The service is friendly and helpful, with the staff making guests feel welcome. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including burgers, gnocchi, seafood, and steaks. The double cheeseburger is a standout, with grilled onions and cheese making it "melting in my mouth" good. The fried gnocchi poutine is another highlight, with crispy gnocchi and savory oxtail. The scallops with lemon risotto are also popular. The Ribeye steak is highly praised for its delicious and well-prepared taste, comparable to high-end restaurants. For starters, the Tuna Crudo and Shishito Peppers are highly recommended, while the Creme Brulee pie is a perfect dessert. The drink menu offers a good selection of non-alcoholic options, including the tasty Summit Nilas IPA. The restaurant has a limited menu, which ensures high-quality dishes. Reservations are recommended, even on a Monday, as seating can be limited, especially at the bar. Despite some quirks, the eclectic decor and lively atmosphere make Gus Gus a great choice for a night out. The staff, particularly Lora, adds to the enjoyable experience with great recommendations and friendly service.
