Emmett's Public House Reviews
King Boreas (aka: Peter Kenefick) and his staff know how to run a Friendly/Welcoming Restaurant - great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere - ALWAYS!
Great atmosphere, kind and respectful attentive staff. The food was fantastic. Cabbage could have had more flavor and the texture was kind of weird, but the corn beef and Brussels sprouts covered mash/ carrots was outstanding. Great place.
My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here last night, and it was simply delightful. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great depth of knowledge about both the main menu as well as the cocktail list. It felt like she was a brand-new dear friend and truly cared about our evening.

The pub is a great find in St Paul's Rondo. The atmosphere is kind, respectful and attentive with a contemporary vibe. The place can be a little loud and very crowded, but the service is attentive, super diligent and the food is good, great and very excellent. The steak sandwich is messy and tasty, the fries (chips) are crisp and hot, and the fish and chips are good. Cabbage could have more flavor, and corn beef and Brussels sprouts covered mash carrots is outstanding. The Whisky Wednesday tasting menu was a good value. The beverage selection is nice and the cider was not good. Come hungry, enjoy the meal and relax in a cozy, relaxing inside.
