Lanna Thai is our new favorite Thai restaurant! Ate dinner there last night and it was great. I had the chicken pad Thai and my husband ordered the yellow curry with chicken over rice. We shared and both were great. Apple, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. The place is small so you may not want to go during busy times but take out is an option as well.

Visited 02/29/2024: 4/5- Very nice restaurant, superb service & great food. You're in Thailand when you walk inside. Flavors are authentic but lighter aromatically than your your typical Thai. Most prominent flavor is sourness. Five spice levels: 1-mild to 5-Thai spicy. Their Thai spicy is a typical medium spice level. Owner checked in and we had a pleasant conversation about the food (she informed about the spice level and appreciated the comments- that was nice when owners/ managers visit the tables). Definitely check it out- will be back for sure.First time here so I ordered a few dishes:1. Beef Laab 3/5 (spice 5/5): Very tender sliced beef, proportioned vegetable/herbs to meat, and generously portioned. First several bites were great but over time it was very sour. Could have used more fish sauce, rice powder, and chili peppers to my liking and less sourness. Nonetheless, worthy dish.2. Som Tom Papaya Salad 3/5 (spice 5/5): Very Thai! Perfect texture and portion. Great if you love sour papaya but after a few bites, the sourness was very prominent. Comes with sticky Rice! Still a great Thai dish.3. Thai Chicken Wings w/ Cilantro lime dipping sauce 3/5: Perfectly cooked- Crispy and hot! Awesome appetizer for sure. Three sauce is supposed to be a chili lime sauce but it was a tangy cilantro lime/ vinegar sauce. Not bad but would prefer nam jim. Still good though.4. Nam Ngiao 4/5 (spice 5/5): Very decent curry soup. This dish is great because it doesn't have coconut or evaporated milk like typical curries. The spice was very mild but I loved the meat texture, the diced blood & generous broth and herbs. Could have been more pungent with aromatics but a lovely dish.5. Pork Spring Rolls 5/5: Excellent spring rolls. The noodles, vegt/herbs and meat was proportionate and that's hard to find! Favorite selection of the day. The dipping sauce was very sweet though.6. Shrimp Tom Yum Soup 4/5 (spice 5/5): Very delicious bowl of soup. Had only 2 lg shrimps but they were perfectly cooked. Very flavorful and tangy. Would have preferred a touch of fish sauce and a more aromatic kick of spices and lemongrass. However, 2nd best dish for me.Vegetarian options: All dishes are vegetarian based and you can select your protein if you wish. Double check broth though!Parking: Quite busy street with small shops in the area and apartment complexes. 2 hour off- street parking so it can be a battle to find parking.

It was on random decisions that my friend and I came to this place so there were no expectations to be had. I really believe this place is one of a kind. The restaurant seems to be family owned and I enjoy the service I get here along with the amazing food that is fast and every bite tastes amazing . I have now brought three different people for my three different visits This is one of those restaurants I want to see here forever.

Excellent food and service!! We had the Lana spicy fish curry, som tum (papaya salad), roast duck curry, and mango sticky rice for dessert. All the items tasted great!Heat - the “Thai Hot” is actually pretty hot. If you have low tolerance, avoid it. Hot and very hot level felt pretty much the same.Ambience - very cute and cozy place. It’s a smallish restaurant but well laid out. If you are coming with a group bigger than 4 people, reserving ahead might be a better idea since the restaurant does get packed.Overall, highly recommend this place!

Had the Thai fried rice!!! This business is always busy in here when I pick up from door dash so I figured I give it a try and it did not disappoint!!!

My partner had gotten the panang curry here before and loved it, so we had to go together. We both considered it one of the best meals we've had. He got the panang curry mild, which for spice wimps like us was just right--the heat was just the right amount to warm you up but not distract from the amazing flavors. I got the pad thai lunch special with egg roll and devoured it. I'm a picky about egg rolls and I loved this one, especially all the beautiful red cabbage, and it wasn't overly fried or oily.We also couldn't resist and got the durian dessert. My only other time tasting durian was disgusting, but my partner has loved it before, and I loved this one! It was delectable (and also served with some mango, just in case). However, I must say that one of the biggest highlights was our host and server Quan. He was kind, friendly, helpful, told us how wonderfully busy it was on valentine's day, and spent time talking to us about durian and jackfruit, told us how they harvest durian in vietnam and that they have to wear helmets, and taught us about geoduck and its fascinating harvest, as well. I wish we could have invited him to sit down and have dessert with us!
