Mac's Fish/Chips/Strips serves delicious food, including walleye sandwiches, fish & chips, and shrimp tacos. The food is carefully prepared and thoroughly delicious, with the staff cutting their own potatoes on-site. The service is superb and friendly. While the location is small and casual, it is worth the trip for the great food. Take-out is an option, and the coleslaw remains a highlight. Although it is a bit greasy, the batter is freshly made on-site, making the fish quite yummy. Despite limited seating, Mac's is a hidden gem with easy parking and a fun atmosphere, especially with the picnic area set up in the parking lot. Summer dining outside is also a real plus.
