Great view, food and beer selection. Great service team…
A fun place for food and beer on the river and bike trail. Extremely casual.
The Staff including Mike Renner the Manager there at City House drink on the clock underage or not. Come to think of it maybe that's why he's inconsistent and unreachable. I was promised a position at City House this season and in the End I was ignored. This is my first year here in Minnesota and was relying on Mike's word.. to get established here. Menu
Red River Kitchen at City House is a restaurant known for its friendly atmosphere and good food. The menu prices for food are generally correct, but the online menu may not be current, so it’s recommended to ask about drink prices before ordering. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with views of the river. The restaurant features a variety of games for kids and adults, including a giant Connect 4, bag toss, and Jenga.
The restaurant offers a solid selection of beer, hard alcohol, and food. The fish tacos, pork nachos, chicken taco salad, quesadillas, and fried pickles come highly recommended. However, guests have noted that the food order process can seem disorganized, and there may be variability in the food quality depending on who is working. The restaurant has its own underground parking lot, though parking can be tricky to find on Walnut street. Dogs are not allowed inside, but some have been seen on leashes outside.
The atmosphere is casual and fun, making it very family-friendly, though it is important to be cautious of bees that are attracted to the outdoor dining area. The restaurant maintains a clean and welcoming environment with attentive service, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal.
