The Bulldog Lowertown Reviews
The Bulldog has the best food and drinks, and Melissa is the best server in town.
A cozy, wood and window bar and grill that is so welcoming, I am charging my power wheel chair in here welcomed to do it by a beautiful and happy waitress. Not a drinker, but bet I get food here in the near future! On corner across from Mears Park who failed my electric access w pad locks! lol.
Life is an adventure and its businesses like this that make a crisis, not one. Makes it a warm visit instead. Home town Saint Paul is represented here. Thank you Bulldog!
We were in town and ordered through the website. The driver arrived (refused to bring it to door) and we noticed a sandwich was missing. The Bulldog Lowertown is a popular spot to catch a game or sporting event, with a dimly lit ambience, numerous TVs, and a wide variety of beverages at the bar. The staff is great, and the service is top-notch, even when the place is busy. The food is excellent, with standout dishes like the wings and Mac and Cheese on the hot dog. The atmosphere is relaxed, with darts and pull tabs available, and security is a priority, making it a safe and secure environment. The restaurant also offers a patio next to Mears Park, perfect for enjoying a meal outside. Customers often praise the friendly service and quick response from staff, and the place is known for its good selection of beers, including local brews. The cheeseburger is highly recommended, especially after a long day, and the poutine with shredded pot roast is considered one of the best. The walleye sandwich, featuring a flaky, pan-seared fillet on a sub roll, is also a popular choice. Overall, The Bulldog Lowertown remains a great spot to grab a drink, enjoy good food, and have a conversation in a clean, open atmosphere.
