“Jule's Bistro is my first pick for all work related meetings, gathering with friends and date night. The food, the staff and the atmosphere make it a special place. Today I had breakfast. I ordered a hot chocolate (outstanding), you have your choice of many types of milk. I also ordered their oatmeal. It's a HUGE bowl full of dried berries, shaved coconut and slivered almonds. You can choose raw honey or real maple syrup (I've asked for brown sugar before) and choice of milk, half and half or cream. It's so filling. During our meeting our server kept our water and coffee cups full without ever being intrusive. My friend had coffee with an in-house syrup made with vanilla beans and Stevia. You can tell the employees really care about their customers. Thank you again! We are lucky to have you in our community.“

“The steak & shrimp is amazing. The waitress was so kind. A lady came into the cafe having a diabetic reaction, asking for a banana. The waitress helped her sit down and ran to give the lady orange juice. It was such a pleasure to witness this kindness. The world needs more people and places like The Old Creamery Cafe! “I’ve been coming to Val’s for a long time. Food is delicious! My concern is…. The guy who works the counter is wearing gloves for sanitation purposes. Yet, he is touching cash, credit cards, coins, the order screen, computer mouse, his personal gatorade beverage, french fries scoop, shake straws and touched his face. I literally saw him grab fries and throw them into a customers bag. Never once did he changed his gloves. Why even wear them? He also should be wearing a beard bag! Your food is very good, but your sanitation is lacking.“

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.“

“Stars should be more like 3-1/2 due to how long everything took. We came here just to eat. The dining area wasn't very full, but it took quite awhile to get water and menus. Then a very long time before our orders were taken. AND then a very long time to get our food. All the waiting took almost an hour and a half. The food was good but not good enough to justify the wait.“

“I absolutely love coming to Pesty’s to eat and have a few cocktails and love the staff. But this is the absolute worst place to go for a meat raffle. Unless you are waving your money in there face you will never be acknowledged. This has happened more then once. Cathedral I’m disappointed I thought you’d be better but you proved me right.“

“always good. buffalo chicken alfredo nachos (with extra buffalo sauce) are amazing. don't get the pulled pork pizza. no sauce so it is extremely dry. the pulled pork even dries out and is like jerky after being cooked. it seems like it could be amazing with some bbq sauce or bourbon sauce. also ask to have the chicken wings with bourbon and buffalo. the combination. is pretty amazing.“

“We were visiting from the cities during a very busy time for them after fall fest and the staff were working their tails off but we still received great service. I had my two kids with as well. The staff were very accommodating towards my kids and were so kind- the bartender made my daughter her first Shirley temple. Wings were great! I would not let the poor review about not being family friendly sway you as they were great with my kids.“

“I'd just like to say, season is a sweetheart. We didn't get off on the right foot my first time here. It was because she was so busy at being a great bartender. I came into the bar very emotional and needed a drink. So lucky she was there.“

“The Pickled Loon is definitely a hotspot for the younger crowd, but it's one of the few places around where you can really let loose and dance. While I’m a bit older and don't frequent it often, I never miss a chance to go when my younger friends want to hit the dance floor. It’s a lively place, perfect for shaking off the stress and having a great time. Like any good college bar, there’s the occasional scuffle, but I’ve never felt unsafe—it's mostly between people who know each other. The atmosphere is fun, the staff are courteous, and the drink prices are very reasonable. It’s always a good time!“
