“Stopped in at Neisen's last Wednesday night to check out and scout the talent on their karaoke night. Excellent joint, large and spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable drink and food prices.

Ordered a club sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Sandwich was toasted just right and lots of meat and veggie in between the perfectly toasted bread. Asked to have the french fries made crispy and they totally met the mark, golden brown crispy and not burnt. Tons and tons of parking.

“We visited the Crooked Pint Ale House for dinner on a Saturday around 7:30pm and it was excellent and here is why. They didn’t have a hamburger with no cheese on the menu. I asked our server and she said “sure they’ll make it for you”. My husband order chicken strips and he said that they were great, just like a certain “steak road house” serves. We also had onion rings and cocktails. If I picked one thing to recommend it would be the onion rings. They are the real McCoy BATTERED, not the frozen breaded kind. If you want to enjoy a cocktail this is your place! The bartenders really know what they’re doing. The atmosphere is rustic and there is music playing in the background. It is easy to have a conversation without having to yell. I would recommend the Crooked Pint Ale House for an excellent casual dinning experience.
They have pull tabs and popcorn to snack on while you are waiting. There is also BINGO on Thursday nights.“

“Excellent breakfast and service“

“While the food was good, service needs improvement. I had the Potato Skins which were very good. My husband had the Ruben. He asked for fries and got waffle fries. Was never offered seasoned sour cream, while my cousin ordered fries, got crinkle cut fries and was offered seasoned sour cream. My husband said the Ruben was good but could have used a little more dressing. Not once were our water glasses refilled or was the offer made to have them refilled.“

“Totally accommodated our baseball team during the State Tournament despite not having knowledge of the tournament. They were kind, respectful, and did all they could to get our orders in within a limited amount of time. We love this place and appreciate their willingness to serve us despite being short staff during a crazy, busy time.“

“On Friday night, August 11th, I got delayed in Bemidji by thunderstorms. I was supposed to land in Minneapolis by 7 and then go to the hotel for a quiet and relaxing evening. Instead, I arrived at 11:30 p.m., totally exhausted and frazzled. I had missed dinner and my husband called the hotel and asked if he could have a pizza delivered for me. When I arrived, I mentioned this to the women at the front desk. They smiled and told me it was already in my room! I then asked if there was any way I could order a glass of wine to also take to my room. They smiled and said the was already taken care of. When I got to my room, not only did I find a small pizza and glass of wine sitting on the table for me, but they had added a Hersheys Candy bar and a hand written card to me..all on their own!! I still have the card and will keep it as a sign to me of how kind total strangers can be. The card reads, "Welcome! So glad you made it safe. Here's a love token from your husband. Enjoy your night! Sleep tight. Love, HGI staff Give these women a raise!! They turned a very exhausting and stressful night into such a wonderful experience. I was only able to be in your hotel for a total of 6 hours, but I slept so well knowing I was so cared for! Thank you!!!“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch, had never been here. Pretty big open space with nice views of the golf course ground’s and water. My server Heather was very attentive and nice. The burger was fresh and tasty. My drink was made well too. I appreciated the presentation so my burger wouldn’t get soggy. Overall a nice decent spot, if in the area would come visit again.“

“First timers. My grandson found this spot for dinner, online. We had six people our group (from Wisconsin),and were easily accomodated with a reservation on a Saturday evening.
Loved the atmosphere, open kitchen concept and decor. Plenty of parking in the lot out front when we arrived.
Hostesses greeted us with smiles and were very pleasant. They got our table set up (four of us arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation at 6:15pm) and we were seated promptly.
Our server, Julia, did a great job! Drinks, food and dessert were delivered in a very timely manner. She was great with questions and very friendly.
We started with waters and a few beverages. Great Malbec! And one of my boys tried the NA Pomegranate Mojito-said it was very good.
Calamari starter..very tasty and the spicy mayo added a nice zip.
My boys had the Mongolian Beef and the Orange Peel Chicken. Hubby had the French Dip, I had the small Caesar Salad and the French Onion Soup. My daughter had Buffalo Chicken Wrap and grandson had Carne Tacos.
All the dishes were delicious.
We also had dessert. Two Creme Brulee, a Flour less Chocolate Cake and a Turtle Cheesecake. All presented delightfully. We shared all. Cheesecake and Chocolate Cake were amazing. The Creme Brulee, however, was not the best we've had. (3 out of 5) Slightly disappointing, but seemed like the consistency was off and slightly pasty. It was still eaten, though! We try it anytime it's on the menu. Presentation was beautiful. Certainly wouldn't keep us from coming and trying it (all) again.
