BLVD Tavern I highly recommend reserving the party room for events like; Big Birthday Parties, Retirement Parties,Work Parties, Holiday Parties, HS Reunions, etc… We had an absolute BLAST! Food was great, service was great, drinks were great, music was great, and the party room was perfect! Lots of room, huge bar, viberant, access to outside patio… Thank You Tom Williams (Owner), Stacy (Manager), and Geo (Manager/facilitator)……From the early, advanced planning and advice, to the end of the party, you guys nailed it!!!! “We’ve been here on several occasions. Always very good! The AYCE crab is so good. Nice quality snow crab legs. Service is always on point. We’ve also tried their nachos which are fantastic, unique because they use fried flour tortilla chips made in-house. The voodoo shrimp & cheese curds are also both a must try. My son loved his burger, especially the bbq sauce, which they make from scratch. I’ve heard the ribs are awesome, too. It’s a got a comfy, casual vibe. Overall, a nice little neighborhood bar with great food & service.“

“If you are looking for a recently remodeled bar/restaurant and white tablecloths, this ain't your place.

However, if you're looking for a place that is quaint, plays Marvin Gaye and Tony Bennett, has real coney dogs that initially were perfected by Greek immigrants over 100 years ago in Detroit, and other amazing dishes the Gopher Bar MUST be on your bucket list. The food is scratch cooking and the quality shows. The prices are reasonable, however, don't think you'll be paying by credit/debit cards as cash is the only form of accepted payment. Every time I go I usually get the same thing Coney dogs, fries and a Coke.“

We only had fried food but it was fried just right. $17 might sound expensive for a chicken tenders basket, but they’re breaded in house, are super thick and I think there might have been 5 of them and fries. No flat, South America shaped tenders here. Saw someone eating a burger with an onion ring on it and it looked delicious. Good to have a place in the neighborhood that can be consistent and yummy.“

“We went to the Dog House so my husband could participate in the dart tournament they have every Friday night (7:00 sign up, 8:00 start). We ate before hand. My husband had the Dog House burger and said it was good. I had the nachos with beef. They were OK. We are from Texas and our idea of nachos is very different. I should have known they weren't going to be the same. Anyway, during the tournament many people came up to say hi and introduce themselves as I'm guessing they are regulars to the tournament and we were new. They were all very friendly and helpful. The owner was very nice and so was the guy running the tournament. They are known for live music and the band was awesome. It was worth the $6 cover. I would have thought there would be more people there, but with the state fair going on and it still being summer, people have other things to do. I'm sure it is busier in the cooler months. We will definitely be going back.“

“Neumanns is just awesome. Decent food overall, really great burgers and fries. Staff is friendly. You might go in there and see and see 3 - 80 year old ladies chatting together and some 20 somethings at the bar and a total mix of ages in between. Has the feel of a biker bar, but friendly and welcoming. A true hometown bar.“

Paddy wagon shuttle bus too and from Xcel during sporting events and concerts is great when you want a sober ride! Only down side is they don't wait long when boarding and departing but have they will make 2-3 trips too if needed ( not sure if from, bus has always been packed). Went to the pink concert Thursday night have we had 10 mins to get to the bus before they left. 2 people almost didn't make it in time.

This will be our go-to spot whenever traveling through MSP. Andy's kitchen burger is the perfect blend of flavors. The friendly in person service is what we look for. “This is my favorite pho location. I've tried many places and their broth cannot be beat. The freshness of their meats as well. Their peanut sauce is far above any other Vietnamese location I've been to. After the pandemic the chicken wings definitely changed so we don't get them like we used to. But everything else has been satisfactory.“

“Andy’s Grille has the best Philly cheesesteak. So melty and flavorful with a soft, toasted bun. I go to the state fair every year just to get it. It’s a must have every year! “A group of 11 on Friday evening at a lovely round table set a bit into a nook. The food and drinks were great, as was the service. It’s a visually lovely place. Unfortunately, the noise was so overwhelming, I left with a headache, and disappointed that I hadn’t been able to hear beyond each of the friends seated immediately next to me. I don’t routinely spend this much when I go out to eat, but am happy to when all the features align. Because of the noise, the Saint Paul Grill will not be a choice next time.“

We had excellent food, drinks, service, and atmosphere at Groveland Tap! We tried lots of appetizers since it was happy hour (my favorite are the pierogies) and we thought everything we ordered was delicious.“

“A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“In between flights we stopped at Ike's Clubhouse. We were trying to find a reasonable spot. We all know airport restaurants can be expensive. But with the luck of Google, we were able to find Ike's. Chase, our waiter was good. My wife and I weren't too hungry so we told Chase we were going to share a meal. Well to our surprise, the server came out with our meal split in two plates. My wife and a were in aww of the hospitality. I know I know that you're thinking, that is a minor detail, but to us that went a long way. I was just expecting a plate with our food, I'd cut it in half and ask for another plate, but they thought about that prior. Besides that, the food was good, the price was reasonable for an airport restaurant and the hospitality was top notch. Thank you Chase and staff!!
