“We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. The apps we had (fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks) were delicious, but those Coneys... OH MY GOD!!! Absolutely delicious! I had 2 but I could've easily downed 2 more. So good, and what was especially impressive that every one of the 5 total that we had looked exactly the same. The consistency of the cook is often overlooked at other places, but not here. Top notch! Also, our bartender Jade (sp?) was super friendly and always on top of anything we needed. Very funny too. A little bit of humorous commentary made for an even better experience.
As I said, the Coneys are to die for, but I would also recommend the Reuben egg roll. I got one after I was finished with the dogs, and it was absolutely amazing!
Gopher Bar is definitely the place to check out if you are a Coney Dog fan. And if you're not, there's plenty of other options to try that all looked incredible when I scanned the menu. Also, and this is yet another reason to choose The Gopher, the prices are very cheap. I wouldn't have expected to get full for under $20 anywhere these days, but they certainly did it! I'm actually getting hungry again just typing this! 😅

“The food was excellent , hats off to the chef , this son and Mom were sitting next to us their chicken dinner looked fab, will be going back for that , my friend and I had burgers , onion rings and chips the rings were cooked perfectly. Prices for the food were fantastic , not expensive at all. Loved all the Hamm's Bear stuff, my dad retired from there . Great place keep up the good job!!“

“Neumanns is just awesome. Decent food overall, really great burgers and fries. Staff is friendly. You might go in there and see and see 3 - 80 year old ladies chatting together and some 20 somethings at the bar and a total mix of ages in between. Has the feel of a biker bar, but friendly and welcoming. A true hometown bar.“

“We had a table of 12 people at Red Rock Bar & Grill on Easter Sunday (3/31/24). The food was very good and we enjoyed having a private dining room for our family. Our servers ( Mimi and Aiden) were not only good at their jobs, but very likeable and engaging with our group. We had family from Eau Claire, WI, Spring Valley, WI, Somerset, WI, Wyoming, MN, Inver Grove Heights, Woodbury and Cottage Grove, MN in our group. We have awesome Bloody Mary's one of the best I've had. We offer drink specials 2 4 1s on domestic beer and premium rails. Our neighborhood is being revamped which is awesome for the bar and community. So if your looking for a cool neighborhood dive bar with awesome staff and great food come Check out The Saint Paul Saloon. “Tonight we rented out the Carbone's banquet room for our daughters 30th surprise birthday party. Wow what a great time we all had and the Carbone staff was outstanding. Working with Tim/Janelle/Cole and our server Chris to make this the prefect night was flaw-less. Future party gathering's at Carbone's will definitely be happening.
