Most bar food is mediocre, but I was so impressed with their food. We had a great Sunday afternoon here chatting with regulars and the staff. Everyone was very friendly. We will be back!“

“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “This is a hidden gem in St. Paul. It's a small venue, but big enough you contect with both the crowd around you and the band. We saw Carbon Leaf, and it felt like they were there just for us. My only complaint was the soound quality was not always the best. After the show, we had a snack on the bar side. Great selection of tap beers. The grilled cheese was delicious and you do need to try to gravy fries! They hit the spot! Highly recommend this place and if Carbon Leaf comes back,.we are there!! ❤“

Being only a hop, skip, & a jump away certainly makes it convenient, but convenience alone doesn’t make a place a favorite. It’s the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the people, and that comfortable neighborhood feeling that makes Wildwood special. There’s something to be said for having a place close to home where you can walk through the door, settle in, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

We have spent enough time here that Wildwood has quietly become part of our little corner of the world—and that means something to us.

“We have shot at Royal golf club many times and the staff and venue are incredible. We highly recommend them to host your wedding! The outdoor space is beautiful and by the lakeside and the indoor space is updated and modern with bright white walls and large stunning windows overlooking the course. The drinks are very well priced. Bartenders and bouncers were thorough, but friendly. There are multiple pool tables, and dart boards each in their own sections seperated from the bar so you don't have to worry about being crowded while trying to play.“

Lots of different events going on for going in for cheap eats and cheap drinks.

We were surprised at how welcoming and inviting the bartender and the folks there were. We were expecting a very different environment but it's a very friendly place!
