“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “This was our first time here. We went to use the sports simulator bay and there were some issues. Dion came over and went above and beyond - not only fixing the bay, but putting us up in the other one until the one that was registering better was completely fixed. He then made sure we enjoyed ourselves and were not worried about the time limit nor the time wasted.

Dion was very pleasant, personable & very likable. Definitely would go back during a time he is working (weekends on the simulator side if you want to go and tip him at the bar ?)“

“Fun dive bar. The bartender was very nice and helpful. He obviously is very familiar with his regulars. For us that have never visited his bar before, he was sure to let us know up front this is a cash only establishment. It is nice to know so we do. It look like fools scrambling for a atm at the last minute.The beer selection is just right. They had plenty of offerings in several spectrums of beer. The liquor offerings are very plentiful for this level of bar.We will be back again and I hope to enjoy the Harbor Bar more often.“

“What a unique hotel - beautiful stone walls and archways. Nice cafe and restaurant right there on property and easy walk to river or shops, restaurants and bars. Everyone was wonderful and very helpful. I only wish I could have stayed longer!“

“They only have Heggies pizza. Always good in a pinch. Went for the Vikings game. Crowd was into the game. And when the Vikings score a touchdown you get a Grape Ape! Lots of bar games to choose from. So if you're not watching the game then go for the beer it's double up for a buck. And take advantage of some of their bar games. Will definitely go back.“

Prices are very reasonable, while the pours are very generous. The Polar Lounge comes with it's own unique cast of characters. They have very delicious soups we tried the duck soup and the mushroom soup, both were delightfully tasty. They have the most divine lamb chops! All the food we had was flavorful and cooked to perfection. They make an amazing homemade ginger ale that has that perfect bite of ginger to it. The restaurant is small but cozy and there are wonderful views from the windows. Our waiter Bryant did an amazing job explaining the menu options and telling us about the off menu specials. They have a Sunday Date Night menu as well and I assure you that you won't be disappointed by anything you order. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a place to have a romantic dinner!“

You might go in there and see and see 3 - 80 year old ladies chatting together and some 20 somethings at the bar and a total mix of ages in between. “We came in late on a Friday and the staff were all very friendly and kind. They seated us quickly and took our orders fast and efficient. Our server Logan was top notch.
