“We have shot at Royal golf club many times and the staff and venue are incredible. We highly recommend them to host your wedding! The outdoor space is beautiful and by the lakeside and the indoor space is updated and modern with bright white walls and large stunning windows overlooking the course. “We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We had a party of six and it was a great evening. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best we ever had. We ate in Fine Dining but there are other venues at the Atom House. We were there on 2/28, not the busiest time for a restaurant located on the St Croix but for a celebratory occasion it was perfect.“

“The Wildwood Tavern has become one of those neighborhood havens we don’t simply frequent—we genuinely look forward to returning to.

Being only a hop, skip, & a jump away certainly makes it convenient, but convenience alone doesn’t make a place a favorite. It’s the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the people, and that comfortable neighborhood feeling that makes Wildwood special. There’s something to be said for having a place close to home where you can walk through the door, settle in, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

We have spent enough time here that Wildwood has quietly become part of our little corner of the world—and that means something to us.

“I stopped by t-buckets Saturday night around 6:00 p.m. The parking lot was half full and there was about 25 people inside the bar. There were a couple of people sitting outside on the patio area. It was nice to stop in there because I haven't been there since the name of the establishment was called the Loch Ness Lounge. Back then the owner Bernie, would greet you at the door with a smile and he'd buy you a cocktail once in awhile. The place was an institution, a monument to the city of Somerset. Glad the place is still up and running and open, it seems to be doing business well.“
