#1Gameday is a hidden gem in downtown St. Paul, described as a little and cozy place with quirky decor. The food is made from scratch and is really good, with menu highlights including pizza, wings, shrimp, tempura shrimp, and a shrimp, lobster and green olive pizza. The pizza is absolutely excellent and just delicious. The restaurant is relatively affordable with very reasonable prices. The kitchen stays open until 30 minutes prior to closing. Service is excellent, with friendly staff and a fantastic owner who is super fun. Regulars make guests feel super welcome. The bar sells American beer and has a variety selection of liquors. The place is very clean and great for sitting and relaxing. It was not packed during visits. Guests are excited to come back for breakfast.
