When our hockey team arrived for our reservation, our appetizers, meals, and drinks were perfectly organized by family and ready at our tables. “Went for Bingo. It was fun, and the caller was great. The mini tacos were not good. It was just meat fried in a corn tortilla and a side of sour cream. For $13 it would have been nice to have a little salsa and shredded lettuce or cheese plated with it. Service was fine.“

“Good selection of pub food. If that’s not good enough, the entire deli and sushi area is fair game. Friendly bar tender and a good selection of local brews. Haven’t tried yet but $3 happy hour pints are a good deal. Great seating and lots of displays showing sports, news, etc.“

“We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. The apps we had (fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks) were delicious, but those Coneys... OH MY GOD!!! Absolutely delicious! I had 2 but I could've easily downed 2 more. So good, and what was especially impressive that every one of the 5 total that we had looked exactly the same. The consistency of the cook is often overlooked at other places, but not here. Top notch! Also, our bartender Jade (sp?) was super friendly and always on top of anything we needed. Very funny too. A little bit of humorous commentary made for an even better experience.

As I said, the Coneys are to die for, but I would also recommend the Reuben egg roll. I got one after I was finished with the dogs, and it was absolutely amazing!

Gopher Bar is definitely the place to check out if you are a Coney Dog fan. And if you're not, there's plenty of other options to try that all looked incredible when I scanned the menu. Also, and this is yet another reason to choose The Gopher, the prices are very cheap. I wouldn't have expected to get full for under $20 anywhere these days, but they certainly did it! I'm actually getting hungry again just typing this! 😅

“The food was excellent , hats off to the chef , this son and Mom were sitting next to us their chicken dinner looked fab, will be going back for that , my friend and I had burgers , onion rings and chips the rings were cooked perfectly. Prices for the food were fantastic , not expensive at all. Loved all the Hamm's Bear stuff, my dad retired from there . Great place keep up the good job!!“

“I just have to share my experience at The Doghouse Bar & Grill! I visited back in November to watch The HYPE, and wow, what an amazing venue. It was hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable time. I was in town celebrating my last week up north before heading off to the National American Miss nationals, and let me tell you, being there was a huge stress reliever during a time that’s normally pretty hectic for me. Nationals can be a lot to manage, and being at The Doghouse helped take my mind off the nerves and truly enjoy the moment. From the moment I walked in, the staff and everyone around made me feel so welcomed. There’s something about a place that has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and The Doghouse absolutely has that. It’s not just about the great food, drinks, and entertainment—it’s about the people too. They were all incredibly kind and made my experience that much better. It’s definitely a spot that holds a special place in my heart now! As Miss Wisconsin Covergirl, I’m thrilled to be back in April. I’m counting down the days, and the timing is perfect because, as many of you know, National American Miss State pageant is in June, so this will be the perfect way to relax and recharge before the next big step in my journey. I’m looking forward to making more memories at The Doghouse Bar & Grill and I can’t wait to visit again soon! If you haven’t been there yet, trust me, it’s a must!
