My wife and I had made a trip into South St Paul to our accountant's office and were looking for Italian food. I was craving a dago sandwich and Angelo's Italian Restaurant did not disappoint! This family run restaurant had a delicious dago sandwich with homemade sauce and a large piece of Italian sausage, we got it to go and it was more than enough for two of us for lunch. A great neighborhood Italian restaurant with a good menu of Italian staples. The service was great, helping to make menu choices while also engaging in conversation.You are not going to find white linen tablecloths or an extensive menu but you'll find a nice neighborhood option for Italian food or pizza.Parking: The restaurant is in a small strip mall with a free parking lot steps from the front door.
