“I've had their pizza many many times. Always hot and fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Always pleasant servers. But more than that, these are kind and caring people who work there. I was in yesterday and sat down to eat a piece of my pizza. Not sure if I didn't wait for it to cool off enough or what, but I started coughing uncontrollably. Before I knew it, the guy from behind the counter (could well have been the owner) appeared in front of me with a bottle of water. Most restaurants would have been oblivious to my predicament and if they would have noticed, they'd have just let me be with a blank look on their faces. This place has earned my business.“

“My wife and I had made a trip into South St Paul to our accountant's office and were looking for Italian food. I was craving a dago sandwich and Angelo's Italian Restaurant did not disappoint! This family run restaurant had a delicious dago sandwich with homemade sauce and a large piece of Italian sausage, we got it to go and it was more than enough for two of us for lunch. “I literally work next door to Cafe Latte! Yesterday, I brought a gift card in to use that my Fiance bought me for Christmas. It didn’t work, several people attempted to make it work, to find it wasn’t loaded right. The manager asked me, “how much was on here.” So I replied. She loaded the amount I said, no questions, didn’t ask for a bank transaction. Just rang it up. Customer service at its best! Never a bad experience!“

The atmosphere was pretty great as well with nice music and locals enjoying their food. Tommy served us at the front and was friendly and personable even offering a free salad. “One of the best pizza places around! They always have great food. My sister and I went on a Friday evening, which we knew would be busy. We arrived at our designated time only to find out that they were behind on orders. The first thing I noticed was how hard your employees were working. They looked so overwhelmed and stressed out, but we’re still able to give us great customer service. I saw the order receipts flowing in by the bunches to the point they had to put them in a huge pile on the countertop. Please limit how many people can order per time slot online. Your employees are working so hard for indoor dining as it is.“

“Good food, friendly and accommodating staff. I've been going here for many years now (10+), and they've never disappointed.I recommend their turkey bacon Chipotle hoagie and any of their pizzas. I prefer traditional crust personally. This has been the closest thing to a nyc slice i've had in a while here in MN. I must say that this place is a pain in the a$$ to get to. I walked literally 20 mins trying to find the place..i would give 4 stars but the pizza was too good. And they're quick with it, got my slices hot and ready in like 3 mins or less. They are located in a dining area i forgot the name. I guess if you find parking closer to that, youll be straight.“

Kids corner is gone which was a bummer but it's more upscale of a place without it. No beer license as of my visit a week ago but sounds like they are working on it.The food: we really enjoyed the food quality and taste! Portions were perfect too! Pastas have homemade sauce from what I could tell! Cajun dish could use more spice and the tortellini could use less but other than that, a great meal! “It's rare to find a family dine-in Pizzeria these days. Especially rustic and historic places like this. The food is really good and they serve these fresh fried potatoes with sour cream that is pretty unique the broasted chicken I hear is really good but I usually get the pizza. The pizza is really cheesy and the crust is really good. That's a great informal atmosphere so you don't have to worry about dressing up so if your blue collar or have 10 Rowdy kids you'll fit right in.
