Shortly after, the owner comes over and offers us a free pizza—which was pretty awesome in itself. But what really pulled on my heartstrings was listening to him describe the amount of thought and heart he puts into the food. He explained the exceptional process he uses to create gut-healthy bread, sauces made fresh daily, and other natural ingredients—without all the processing we’ve grown to hate. I told him it felt like the scene from Ratatouille where the mouse combines all the flavors and everything bursts into color. It really was that good. You can taste the quality in every bite. But more than the pizza, I could tell the owner himself is exceptional. “@punchpizza is one of my go to comfort foods. For the good times and the tough times, grabbing a pizza from Punch always does the trick.

Obviously folks know about this place but I still want to highlight them because longtime fan. Fun fact, each location has hidden cat figurines in their restaurants. Generally in the ceilings. My stop tonight was at my local St. Paul location. They have a whopping 12 locations in MN all listed in one of the last photos.

“HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“One of the best pizza places around! They always have great food. My sister and I went on a Friday evening, which we knew would be busy. We arrived at our designated time only to find out that they were behind on orders. The first thing I noticed was how hard your employees were working. They looked so overwhelmed and stressed out, but we’re still able to give us great customer service. I saw the order receipts flowing in by the bunches to the point they had to put them in a huge pile on the countertop. Please limit how many people can order per time slot online. Your employees are working so hard for indoor dining as it is.“

“We wanted to try a new, non-chain bar. The drinks were great, excellent atmosphere. But here’s what really stood out. We had an unfortunate encounter with another patron saying sketchy stuff to us. The bartender (nice gal with blonde bun) stopped over and asked if everything was OK. It was very reassuring to have a staff member checking in, which doesn’t happen everywhere. “Just ordered delivery from here tonight for the first time since we moved here about 4 years ago. I wish we would’ve tried Bella Pizza sooner. We ordered a large chicken Alfredo pizza, a medium mushroom and onion pizza and a small pizza fries and all 3 are delicious. The gentleman that took our order on the phone and the delivery driver were both very polite and the pizzas even got here about 15 minutes earlier than what we were expecting. We will definitely be ordering from here again and will recommend to everyone. Also like that this is a small business which we would definitely rather support. “I've never had as good a aclzone anywhere as Sarpino's makes, at least the ones at the Oakdale, MN location. They are such a great blend of flavors and seasonings; the ingredients are always fresh and the crust is buttery and crispy, not overwhelmingly bready. The crust compliments rather than buries the abundant fillings. And they're ginormous - I get minimum of two meals out of one. And they're delivered hot and almost always within or sooner than the estimated delivery time (which is free- no need for Door Dash). Can't say enough good things about this Sarpinos! I never thought I liked calzones til I tried one of theirs.“

“Came here with a reservation before a Wild Game. I will say this place is worth the money. We had the swordfish and New York Strip. My steak was to die for and my husband's fish was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out promptly. Cocktails were delicious. Pricing perfectly reasonable for how wonderful it was.“
