“Great music in an old school club.“
“If you have accessibility issues this place is absolutely amazing in accommodating you. I called ahead of the show and they said "don't even worry" but the lack of detail had me worried. But as soon as we arrived a staff member got us checked in without having to wait in line and showed us to where we could sit, even rousing a couple people out of their seats so we could have them. Our view of the stage was great and we had a perfect evening! Amazing compassion and help from the staff.“

“Known for their “Jucy Lucy” which are 2 Patties with cheese cooked inside. My family that lives here likes the Jucy Lucy and especially the fries from here. During the summer they say there are long lines out the door. We can here in December and it was pretty busy for a week night. They only accept cash or checks, no card. We were lucky and got seated quickly, service was also quick and I asked for a beer that goes well with it. My sister in law got a chicken sandwich and I put her lettuce in my Jucy Lucy. Beware to not bite into it quickly because the cheese squirts out. Every bite I took the cheese indeed came out and burned me. Their fries are really good. I opted to keep the pickles and onions in the burger which I enjoyed. It was nice inside and they still had Christmas decorations making it feel like a Christmas bar. “We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. The apps we had (fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks) were delicious, but those Coneys... OH MY GOD!!! Absolutely delicious! I had 2 but I could've easily downed 2 more. So good, and what was especially impressive that every one of the 5 total that we had looked exactly the same. The consistency of the cook is often overlooked at other places, but not here. Top notch! Also, our bartender Jade (sp?) was super friendly and always on top of anything we needed. Very funny too. A little bit of humorous commentary made for an even better experience.
As I said, the Coneys are to die for, but I would also recommend the Reuben egg roll. I got one after I was finished with the dogs, and it was absolutely amazing!
Gopher Bar is definitely the place to check out if you are a Coney Dog fan. And if you're not, there's plenty of other options to try that all looked incredible when I scanned the menu. Also, and this is yet another reason to choose The Gopher, the prices are very cheap. I wouldn't have expected to get full for under $20 anywhere these days, but they certainly did it! I'm actually getting hungry again just typing this! 😅
FYI, cash only. They do have an ATM though. 👍“

“For an original North Loop neighborhood feel, Cuzzy’s is a MUST visit. For everyone in town this weekend, it’s part of the true Minneapolis experience. Great staff and awesome food!“

“They donated Chicken Wings to a homeless shelter and the people living near this place should support them all the way. Just think how good the wings are when they are made by people who care! If you want to go out go tie Spring Street!“

“Part of the Centro restaurant group. Everything is great except the parking situation. During peak hours, its near impossible to find parking near the area.
Food was great, its the same QR code ordering as the other restaurants. The Bina burger was almost like a Juicy Lucy without the mess. Chips were great. Deviled eggs were good.
Drink options are limited and the menu is kinda overpriced, but that hasn't disuaded anyone from coming.
There are bar games and the whole place has a speakeasy vibe.“

Just had steak eggs mush onions hash browns holendaze and 3 maybe 4 vodka grapefruit and I tipped over 20% out the door for 30$
That's unheard of in a big city.

“The Northeast section of Minneapolis is a surprising Mecca for neighborhood taverns, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and hot, complemented by an icy cold PBR. The bartender was very pleasant and made sure I had everything I needed, while the clientele were entertaining and added to the lively atmosphere. I can't wait to come back and try the double cheeseburger again.“

“My first time here. It’s a tiny little local bar. They keep their old tradition as cash only, which the bartender explained, even though card option would’ve been nice since the atm and my bank both will charge fees withdrawing cash. Found out the hard way, but you have the option to leave if you don’t like it , no one is forcing you stay. bartender is a nice guy and made me feel welcome.“

Frenchmans is a local gem with amazing prices and unbelievably consistent service paired with food you will find yourself craving again and again. “Friendly & welcoming neighborhood bar for listening to local bands and dancing. Would feel comfortable coming alone just to have a beer or even just to dance. Feels very safe here. The crowd is always friendly and spans the age range. There's a great vibe here that brings everyone together.
Parking: There's a lot in the back but I'm not sure who it's for. I park in the street or around the corner. Usually find street parking in the same block.“

“Met up with some friends to check out this Lyndale Ave institution, the dive bar vibes didn't disappoint. Food was great and drinks were strong. Service was fast and very friendly. Atmosphere, however, left something to be desired. The dining room was very dusty and had a weird, musty smell that wasn't appetizing. On a whole I think the whole dining room could use a thorough deep clean. With on street parking the only option, I opted for Lyfting over as this part of Lyndale is always very busy.“

“The atmosphere is low key and friendly. The menu is relatively short but all our food was good. Service was fast, and we liked our server he did a nice job keeping up with our table. It felt like a good neighborhood bar. We’ll be back for sure.“
