Boketto Reviews
Yesterday we went to celebrate my friends 60th birthday! Food was great however Cameron left our table unattended for over 40 minutes! Initially it took over 30 minutes to get our bill after we requested it! Our first bills were incorrect and didn’t have automatic gratuity! He returned and our bills were still incorrect. The third time he returned we discovered that these new bills had automatic gratuity although our small party didn’t warrant it! #irritated

Boketto is an upscale restaurant appropriately placed in the West End Shops in St. Louis Park. The atmosphere is lively, polished, and good. The restaurant is plush and ornately designed, with beautiful and lovely oriental art. The staff is extremely attentive, consistently checking on the table. The waiter was complete to the max in the guise of great service, present and very timely. The tableside mixology experience is a must; the Lychee Martini was sweet and refreshing. A ‘Smoky’ cocktail is placed in a glass box with a small fire piece, smoke engulfing the tumbler. The food did not disappoint. The tuna tartare may have been the subtle star of the show, with opposing textures of crispy shallots and tenderness of the tuna. The wagyu is delicious and as tender as it should be. The coconut sweet potato puree and pineapple curry relish was the best thing tasted all night. The steaks are very tender and juicy. Other standouts include the lobster mac, grilled oysters, Boketto roll, and the creamed corn. Everything is a la carte but a shareable size. The menu is pricey, with a mandatory 18% gratuity charge per table. For a birthday celebration, a highly satisfying chocolate dessert was brought out with a fire lit sparkler. A Polaroid photo was given to remember the night.
