“We went there when the whole building was under construction. The signs were off a bit. We got lost because we couldn't tell whether that was pizza hut or something else. Thank God there were 2 pizza hut cars parked outside and we just used whatever door and thank God we got our food. The food was very tasteful. My daughter liked it. We had ordered chicken Alfredo pasta. And it was quick and on time. The only problem we had was location confusion and ongoing construction“

“some customer was yelling because his card got declined multiple times and he kept blaming the people that were working and they were going polite taking his abuse so I spoke up and the guy piped down. Even though the customer was causing the drama, the food still turned out good and the gal working was flustered a little due to the guys yelling but she was still polite as well. they don't deserve to be treated that way. thanks guys“

“I've never sat inside but the waiting area is small and the restaurant is narrow. The food is awesome every single time. The people that work there are so fast and always do a great job. Their in person buy one get one pizza on tuesdays is where it's at but the cheese steaks are good too.“

“I love the pizza. It's not Domino's or pizza hut that most of us are used to. Frank did a lot of research to start the pizzeria. With Alec's help they made it successful. Zac continues to make great pizzas after the passing of Alec two years ago. I recommend everyone to give it a try. yum yu6“

“I purchased 2 large pizzas over Memorial Day. I was disappointed in them because the pizzas I picked up were not the quality I was used to. I called Lilly, Manager of the Monticello and expressed my disappointment. She told me she was happy to know that and she would replace them for me when we wanted. I'm very happy to report that I called Lilly and she remembered me and said the pizzas would be replaced free if charge. I see why the Monticello store is exemplary. Thank you Lilly“

“What an amazing place. The interesting food, service and atmosphere.“

“Love their pizza, but lately it’s been overcooked with blackened crusts. The chicken salad had fresh ingredients, but the chicken itself was extremely dry. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly, which we appreciate. It’s unfortunate they don’t allow reservations for groups of 15, because you would think large groups bringing in business would be welcomed. Booths are rather small and tend to fit 4 people.“

“They even know when my Co workers are trying to order my child's father who passed away Brandon and my favorite pizza there which is thin crust, chicken bacon ranch with the BBQ and ranch mixed together, best pizza ever. “My friend and I wanted to play bingo and get some $1 tacos at Detour 19 in Loretto. When we got there we found out the kitchen was closed due to a fire. Luckily it wasn't bad and no one got hurt. We stayed and had a couple of drinks and then decided to order Domino's! The owner told us no problem! It was kind of funny watching the delivery girl, Dawn's face when she walked into a restaurant delivering pizza. Kudos to Domino's Pizza Rockford, MN and Dawn!!“

“We love Sammy’s pizza over most others. The atmosphere here is sports bar type and is roomy with plenty of seating. Weird access to the parking lot but if you are familiar with it it’s no big deal. The prices are about the same as most places of the same food types, My wife and I ordered the Sammy’s Italian deluxe allegedly with pepperoni and salami, Thinking a peanut butter sandwich has more meat. Was really disappointed in the 15.00 sandwich.The fries were excellent however, the right size and fried perfectly. Our wait staff were fantastic. Next time I will stick to my regular order - pizza.“

“It's unfortunate that Pizza Hut decided to change their personal pan pizzas. I am not a fan of the current version. It's more hand-tossed than deep dish and doesn't taste like “Pizza Hut”. This location used to sell breadsticks and no longer sell those either. Which is also a shame. The staff is nice. The place clean. Usually you have to wait for pizza to be cooked. It's got weird hours. My teen, however, would eat here everyday if I let her.“

We had a DoorDash Delivery mishap after putting in our online order– and their manager Johnny was so kind as to call us, make us fresh food (the delivery time was pushed back by almost 90 minutes!), and sent a free dessert. We are so appreciative and in awe at their incredible customer service!“

However, that is not always practical; when we need something quick and with consistent quality at affordable prices, this location and its staff and the product/experience they advertise have met or exceeded expectations so far.
