“We had been to this place when it was called Whiteys several times, but this was our first visit since the change in ownership.
First thing I noticed was they kept the fresh squeezed juice... YAY!!!! I enjoy a variety of cocktails, but a screwdriver with fresh OJ is near the top of my list. So big thanks for that.
I was perusing the menu and it didn't take long for me to notice the lasagna w/side salad. I am a lasagna hound and snob, and have tried it at many establishments over the years. This offering was outstanding, perhaps my favorite (not made by my wife, of course).
We will be back.
P. S. we used to boat on the river and visited Stillwater a lot, but not since COVID. Howard's has been on our radar for a while. Hearing more about it at the Wits Reunion show at the Fitzgerald motivated us to get it done.“

“Lisa G., Janae was our waitress, too. We were the “3-J’s”: Joe, Junna, and Janae. Janae was swift, attentive, beautiful, and cheerful. She was always right there to refill my water glass. I wonder if she ran track in high school; she was fast!“

“Best meal! We by chance stopped in for supper and a drink this past Friday night and were impressed by what great food we all had. 5 of us ordering different items and all were meals were so fresh and delicious! And service was outstanding! We would definitely recommend the Mad Capper to anyone who is visiting Stillwater!“

“Every single dish we had was phenomenal! We gave compliments to the chef on truly inspired creations. Our favorite may have been the Brussels sprouts, but we truly loved everything we tried. The service was great - friendly, quick, knowledgeable. Thank you to the whole team for making our 20th Anniversary celebration so wonderful.“

“I’m enthusiastic to report that this Culvers was amazing! The food was absolutely divine! There were a decent amount of food options available! The staff was amicable and so delightful! The wait time was not terribly long. (Although past times I’ve been here, the wait has been long. The drive through typically takes a while😅) There was plenty of seating options available and the place was kept fairly clean! My dining experience at Culver’s was top notch! I will definitely be coming back to this Culver’s on a regular basis!I totally recommend coming here! There was also a lot of parking!“

“The Freight House is enough of an experience in itself to make the food sort of play second fiddle. It's all good and quite value priced. Super kid and whole gang friendly, pets welcome on the large patio. Staff friendly and accommodating. Try the Chicken Wild Rice soup. It's the best in the city.“

“One of the best restaurants on the east side of the twin cities, if you love wine with awesome food,this owner along with the staff, which is key, know how to serve the two together to have an unforgettable dinner. The wine shop has some phenomenal choices of wines you will not find anywhere else. Stillwater’s Domacin is a destination ❤️🍷🥂❤️“

“We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! The menus had great variety and was delicious! This place is worth the trip for us and we WILL be back! Thanks Penny for your awesome service that made our visit that much better!“

“Stopped on a Thursday afternoon to see PT on the patio. The female singer performing was amazing. My wife and I had a couple happy hour apps including wings, nachos and cheese burger sliders. Everything was awesome! Only got a pic of the wings tho. We love this bar and look forward to returning again and again!“

“The hostess brought us right back to a booth and our server, Thuy was right there to offer coffee and water. Her attention, smile and service was amazing. Time from walking in the door to hot, good food on the table was about 20 minutes. We’re so happy we left Keys cafe down the road where we were pointed to a booth to sit in and then ignored for 15 minutes; no greeting of “I’ll be right with you” or anything for 15 minutes with several servers in the section.“

“We had a fantastic time at No Neck Tony’s! I reached out to Jessica, the manager, to see if they could recreate my wedding’s signature cocktail as a surprise for my husband while we celebrated our 10-year anniversary. She was incredibly kind and even went out of her way to buy an ingredient they didn’t have on hand. The other cocktails were also excellent and the Halloween decor truly stole the show! If you're a Halloween lover like me, this place is an absolute must in October!“
