“My waitress Collen was the best waitress I've had in years. She handled multiple tables, with 6 to 8 people at each table, amazingly. Holy mackeral! Food was hot, fast, delicious and this little gal, a little older waitress, with her hair in a bun, was a rock star. Extremely efficient and friendly. This is my forever Perkins location now! Give her a raise! She made a lot of money for Perkins!“

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“There are many choices in the area for casual dining, but most often we choose THIS clean, well-maintained Perkins restaurant. Our favorite 5-star server is Laurie, who remembers us, greets us with a smile and thanks us whenever we show up. The chefs behind the scenes are consistent in every way: quality, preparation, portion, flavors, timing, and accuracy. “Overall great atmosphere and the food is quite good other than the fries which gave me a yucky tummy from the grease. I was shocked, however, to be charged $7 for hot tea! SEVEN DOLLARS. Seriously? It's water and a cheap tea bag. 🤨 Another reason to stick with lukewarm tap water when eating out. Also be aware that there is a 2.9% fee for using a credit card. I'm not sure if it's noted on the menu but it's on the bottom of the check.“

“We stayed at the Marriott for a show at Grand Casino Arena. Ate dinner at Smorgies. Food was very good! No waitress, you order food from the QR code at each table, then bartenders run out to you. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! Would eat there again! Very nice outdoor seating!“

“I’m not a young man, I’m sure I’ve eaten more than 40,000 hamburgers. The hamburger I had tonight might have been the best I ever ate. I asked for ketchup, but shouldn’t have. The eight ounce burger was perfectly cooked and deliciously dressed. It was nestled in a just right bun and paired with a delicious side of vegetables.

We enjoyed great appetizers, entrees and deserts and service, including management, was attentive and helpful. Beverage choices seemed excellent. Lighting seemed just right.

The Miracle On Ice legend is part this historic building. There is a large, inviting fireplace in the dining area, that can only add to the ambiance as Minnesota winter closes in.

“My husband and I have been going to the blacksmith restaurant for over 40 years. The only item I have had is their chicken which is addicting. They sell more Broasted chicken than anyone else in Minnesota. All their food is great but it is their chicken for me. At least once a week I have to have it. They have a 12 piece to purchase and take out also….we have done that after eating there !!!!!!!“
