Culver’s. Speedy service and not much of a line. Food was great as usual no issues with my order. The dogs approved of their pup cups. Somehow only one onion ring was in the bag when I made it home so that’s a mystery for next time“

“First time here. You order at the counter here, then food is brought out. The pancakes and sausage were fantastic! Nice little place to meet someone to catch up or stop to grab a coffee. Also have outdoor seating for the nicer days.“

It's water and a cheap tea bag. 🤨 Another reason to stick with lukewarm tap water when eating out. Also be aware that there is a 2.9% fee for using a credit card. I'm not sure if it's noted on the menu but it's on the bottom of the check.“

“My wife and I tried this place years ago, and we did not enjoy the food at all. I literally couldn't even eat the leftovers. I noticed a lot of positive reviews from recent times, and we decided to give it another go, as we wanted Chinese. My gosh, I have never seen such a turn around before. Everything we got was fantastic, and it's easily the best Chinese food within 20 miles. Whatever changes you made, excellent job. Keep this level of quality, and you'll have customers for life.“

“My husband and I have been going to the blacksmith restaurant for over 40 years. The only item I have had is their chicken which is addicting. They sell more Broasted chicken than anyone else in Minnesota. All their food is great but it is their chicken for me. At least once a week I have to have it. They have a 12 piece to purchase and take out also….we have done that after eating there !!!!!!!“

“First time here. Had the steak sandwich. I would rate it 6.5 to 7. The sandwich was good other than the fact the ciabatta literally fell apart in my hands as I was eating it, 2nd bite the entire bottom and top were in pieces. It tasted very green because there wasnt much aoli. If there was more aoli and the sandwhich didnt fall apart on the second bite I would rate it a 10. The frites were amazing, the employees were very kind as well. ❤️ Will be back to try other things :)“

“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“My son and I stopped in for dinner as I had a gift card to use. Our server Andrea was wonderful! We ordered our food and it arrived looking great! My son liked his salad a lot and my Rueben, while not traditional, was tasty. I was sadly less than impressed with the Maple Bacon Brussels I got with my sandwich and let Andrea know. She let her manager know right away and they both were SO kind and thanked me for letting them know my concerns. They offered us a piece of chocolate cake (which was super yummy!) to make up for the side not being so great. Amazing customer service! We will be back!“

“The food was piled high and tasted homemade. However, our waitress left little to be desired. Took half our drink order then disappeared. When she showed back up the remaining 3 people tried to order their drinks and she cut us off asking 'are you getting food?'. We'd like to order our drinks before our food. Then when all of our drinks arrived our food showed up at the same time. It took less time to get our food than coffee and water. She was short, rude and kind of ruined our experience.“

“I came in to eat on Saturday, and Lillian was our server. She was the sweetest girl ever! She genuinely took the time to explain the menu to us since we hadn’t been to Perkins in so long. She took such great care of us, checked on us throughout our meal, and made us feel so welcomed. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We go here waaaaaay more often than I care to admit and I have to say, every single time is a joy. Not just because the food is amazing (and consistent) but because the staff are truly kind and attentive! There is always someone walking around, wiping down tables. We are always greeted with a smile. One time, my youngest daughter told one of the workers that she wanted to work at Culver’s when she grows up and they brought her a flippin’ hat! How cool is that? I mean, it’s just par for the course with this place. Phenomenal staff, great food, and our family always leaves happy.“

Most bar food is mediocre, but I was so impressed with their food. We had a great Sunday afternoon here chatting with regulars and the staff. Everyone was very friendly. We will be back!“

“I thought i would give this a try as I was in the area on a Friday night. The casino is small but offers quite a bit of card games for those who enjoy poker, black jack, pai gao and several others. When you first walk in, the bar area and restaurant greet you, I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly offered a water and menu. I ordered a club sandwich and fries($10), my sandwich arrived pretty quickly and was delicious. the club is large and filling, and the fries were tasty. If you are looking for a good value in the Forest Lake area, it's hard to pass up Trout Air Tavern but it does come with whole Casino vibe.“
