Hidden gem! Perfect breakfast and lunch menu, amazing food and comfortable space. Every time the food hits the spot, I think it’s cooked by the owner who is a friendly, and funny guy. Great place to bring the family for a meal or stop in for some bakery treats on a bike ride.
I see the appeal for some people but truly it's just okay. The space is extremely tiny, maybe ten tables? They have a couple of chairs near the door for waiting. I waited about 20 minutes on a weekday for a table for myself. I ordered a plain coffee and the corner beef hash. The coffee was alright but the corner beef hash was not good. The corned beef seemed canned, the house potatoes had too much pepper, and the sunny side up eggs had semi cooked yolks and the whites weren't...
Food was average. The bacon is not fresh - the microwavable strips. The jelly and syrup are the plastic prepackaged containers. The breakfast potatoes were amazing though and very flavorful. They sell a few bakery items and coffee beverages for takeaway.
Our server did not feel welcoming and seemed annoyed. Our drinks were ever refilled when they should have been.
