We have been wanting to try CJ Hooks for awhile now. Friends have offered favorable reviews. We ate Saturday night. The spot was great. The service was prompt and friendly. Our disappointment is with the food. It took an hour to arrive. And it arrived cold. The ham and brie sandwich was good but would have been much better served on time. The pulled pork was a bit dry and the brisket substantially fatty. The coldness of the mac and cheese made it gummy. Just an all around bummer....read full review
