The atmosphere is quiet, which is very nice for conversation. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place for lunch.”

“I'm always looking for a good biscuit and gravy option and Evergreen did not disappoint. In fact, it was one of the better biscuits and gravy I've had at a restaurant. So kudos to them! I didn't try the chicken Florentine one of the previous nights and it was pretty decent too.”

“When I first saw the name of this place I was somewhat resolved not to go there. I hated that name. I've been there a few times now, and I have to say their food is some of the best. I normally have the spinach and strawberry salad, but the last time I ordered their smashburger. AMAZINGLY GOOD! I didn't enjoy the din from the TV sets all over the place, making conversation hard. I highly recommend the food and service here.”

“No wait on a Thursday before 5. Ordered 3 different medium house specials. Lots of booths for various sizes of people. Nice big windows overlooking Sheridan st for people watching. Busy part of town for sure. 60th wedding anniversary today of a local couple. Wish we where getting Sir G's... Better than no choice for fresh pizza. The thin crust was best.”

“Solid brew pub with a decent selection of food items. Highly recommend the smoke stack sandwich and the cheese curds. The blueberry blonde beer is their signature and is great. Even if you don’t like fruit beer. Also recommend the spruce road beer.”

“I stopped at Ely DQ for a quick lunch to go. The lady working Drive through, Amanda, was very polite and friendly. She even noticed something wrong with my order and had the cook fix it before giving me my food, which I appreciate, as I often have to return for missing or wrong orders being on specialized diet with some allergies and sensitivities, but she was on the ball. Kudos to Amanda for actually paying attention to her customers!”
