“I was there last year, I thought the beers they made were excellent. So now I want to go back again but seems it is more a restaurant than a brewery. I do find not a beer list of their products. I hope they will start posting the beers on tap and have as many as they did before. I do understand in their area the need to expand to the need of the population request and maybe it’s food over beer.”

“Love the food. Well worth the drive from Cape Girardeau to eat here. They have a 1lb burger for under $10 that beats the socks off of anything in Cape. Cheap drinks too and well made. The pic I posted has waffle fries which are extra. Only be burger comes on the order but still a huge value and it's all real meat.”

“My first time here at Bayou was great. Service was excellent, good atmosphere, and the servings. My gosh the servings, they are huge. If you get an appetizer (to share, don't tackle one yourself) and just the main item with no sides you will be golden. I got the smoked pork steak and while it was a little dry (but that's pork, I won't hold it against them) the sauce was amazing but be sure to ask for extra sauce. Their blackened shrimp are amazing as well. I'd say definitely worth stopping in on an empty stomach and bring friends if you want to finish off an appetizer.”

“Hard to get to. Friendly staff and great specials daily. Owner just needs to keep opinions of their staff between management and not the entire location to make it a bit more friendly.”
