“Great eatry off the highway, very pleasantly surprised with the food, service and decour. Was not expecting this type of shop off the highway, a place you find in the city. Highly ”

“Christina's place is the perfect stop between stl and kansas! The best chicken strips, amazing burgers, the tots and fries are amazing. I've never come in a place with average expectations that were blown out of the water. Great service too! The the mother and daughter cook together, they even came to check on us! Amazing little stop, please check it out.”
“Great little STUCKY'S truckstop in "Blackwater". It has fresh food and showers as well as a bunch of stuff you normally don't see around like my $15 poncho I got! Yeah I got that impulse buy disease when I'm around cool stuff I like, I buy it! Especially if I don't have one of whatever it is! LOL ?Kid-friendliness: They were nice to my son. He is nine years old and wants to order for himself. I think all DQ's are great! Not only did we grow up with them but for some reason their quality is always great it's not like all the other fast food restaurants where it's hit-and-miss with cold fries or overcooked or undercooked burgers. It just seems like dairy Queen always has the right stuff”
“So let me just start with, I personally so not like fried chicken very much. But I stopped here on a lark with my mom and grandma during a road trip several years ago, and on our waitress's recommendation, had the fried chicken and was blown away. This summer I was making the same road trip and insisted to my husband that we drive a bit out of the way to have dinner here. Of course, ordered the chicken again (along with green beans and mashed potatoes) and was in heaven. The hostess was amazing, managing to seat us even though it we didn't have a reservation, so I have to call out their service as being as amazing as their food. The atmosphere is unique, being an historic building. The only possible detractor I can think of is that the patrons on that particular night gave us very "Get Out" / "Sharp Objects" vibes. We decided it would be best to leave town before sundown, so got our desserts to go.”
