The chef takes pride in using locally sourced products, including meat and produce, and even grows herbs in a hoop garden planned for next year. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with comfortable seating and an impressive wine selection. The menu features homemade dressings and sauces, such as the delicious dipping sauce for bread, and dishes like creamy pesto spaghetti, marinara with meatballs pasta, and specials like mussels and balsamic mushroom chicken. The entrees have a great balance of flavor, and the hot tea is served with locally sourced fresh honey, which is very good. The caprese salad is delicious even when tomatoes are not in season. Desserts like brown butter bourbon brownies and rotating cakes and cookies are highly recommended, and to-go options are available with generous portions. The owner, Aaron, visits tables to share the family history behind the recipes, adding a special touch. The friendly server provides excellent service and is attentive to allergies.
