“I treated myself this morning by stopping in to this charming bakeshop. It was late morning but the offerings were still plentiful. I opted for a strawberry scone and coffee. The scone was perfection! Fresh strawberries atop a perfectly baked scone with just a drizzle of glaze. Not too sweet and just right. I'll be back the next time I'm in town!“

“We hosted my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration at Be Free Family Farm last Saturday, and I couldn’t recommend the venue highly enough. It was perfect. One of the best things about the space is how adaptable it is. I’d been to a high school grad party there before, and I can’t think of anything further from a 50th anniversary than that! Be Free fit both perfectly. We had around 100 people total, with about 60–70 at the peak, and it was a little crowded but in an energetic way if that makes sense. It was mid-July and pretty hot outside, but the indoor space stayed cool the whole time. I’d love to host something there in the fall with the garage doors open. I’m sure that’s the perfect balance. Carl, Jennifer, and Scott were fantastic. They helped with setup, made sure we had everything we needed (including things we didn’t think of until we got there). Carl was quick to offer a ride for guests from the parking lot since we were dealing with mostly older guests. Scott and Jennifer helped welcome people inside and out, literally opening doors and showing people around. The sound system was great. They helped me get it going, and now I obviously want a Sonos setup at home 💀💰💵 Shout out to Apple Music for the ‘1975 pop rock’ playlist that was an easy option for a 50th anniversary. We catered food from Zarda BBQ in Blue Springs. I picked it up myself and ordered for 60, but we ended up with more than enough. Be Free had some catering equipment that we used. “Over the past decade ive been eating at Daylight Donuts, i always had a problem with how much frosting they put on top. Its way too little. Sometimes you take a bite and you end up filling your mouth with dough.

Went back here a couple weeks ago and it was the same. The frosting is really good too, why not put more on there?

But aside from that, this restaurant has really friendly staff and decent atmosphere. Donuts are also really good despite the issue i already discussed. A good 4 stars. It mightve improved since our last visit, but i havent came back yet.“

This wonderful little place, tucked off the side of the highway, has existed since before my time. It has amazing prices for your budget! They offer fresh bread assortment, bagels, sweet treats, varied canned goods, candies, dry mix in pouches. This product is exactly the same as what the grocer has, just way better priced and sold by really awesome people.

The folks who run and operate the premises are super nice, helpful and kind. While I was there shopping with Nana, an older gentleman came in with mobility issues and was assisted during his entire visit by an employee who came in from stocking to specifically help him.“

My daughter with a peanut allergy realized it after 1 bite thank goodness and with some Benadryl she's fine. I called after to confirm flavor and was told flavors rotate and to always ask what they were. They're not obligated to label peanut products but it would be nice if they did since it's a high allergen food :( They didn't even ask if she was ok. If you have allergies I would make sure to always ask and double check here.“

Super nice facility.
Clean and well lit inside and outside.

Great product and excellent meat selection.

The shelves were well stocked, date rotated where I examined. The shelf and stock I check was also clean.

No interaction with staff expect checkout which was fast and friendly.

The only minus in this otherwise 5 star review is the lack of bread in the bread aisle.
