“100/10 recommend, seriously. Karen usually has on a hand a nice variety of goodies. Her banana pudding is sensational and the cupcakes..?. She also has chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos and usually a Bundt cake or three. We also had Karen make us a cake and cupcakes for my sons baby shower, and they all came out phenomenal...I didn't even get a cupcake that day they went so fast! I would definitely recommend that you stop by and check out and support this bakery, the treats are amazing ...but also Karen is such a sweet lady!“

We went in for a cake tasting where they took the time to explain all of our options, as well as work with us on a plan for number of guests and amount of dessert needed to accommodate. Their cake was amazing! We ordered almond cake with raspberry filling, which was so delicious and can't wait to order through them again for special occasions!“

It's a limited lunch menu with just 3 sandwich choices, but let me just say that these are not regular deli sandwiches. The chicken salad is homemade, and the ham and honey roasted turkey sandwiches are carved meats, not sliced deli. There are also a few varieties of quiches, and either bowls or cups of soup. One of the ladies next to me got a cup of ham and bean soup. It looked and smelled so good that I was wishing I had ordered it. This is a bakery, so of course the highlight is the baked goods, which include cookies, cupcakes, pound cake, pies, cinnamon rolls (Friday & Saturday)...and so much more! “I started the morning at this McLain's Market location. The inside is stunning, fitted out with lots of tables and chairs, and some bar seating. When you walk in, the line to order is right in the front located near the grab-n-go drinks and food. Ordering is easy and the staff are all incredibly friendly. If you order coffee, it'll be made over at the coffee bar. I ordered my typical iced vanilla latte and classic croissant. I'll definitely be back!“

We got there around 11:45 to beat the rush. There was some disruptive construction in the parking lot when we first arrived but fortunately they went on their lunch break at noon. We took in the yummy looking desserts and put in our orders at the counter. I got the pick 2 with a chicken salad sandwich and the signature salad. I also picked up one of their famous cranberry orange cookies. My two colleagues ended up getting the prepared pick 2 lunch boxes. I was a little worried since they had to make mine fresh and that I'd be waiting while my colleagues ate but my food came out from the kitchen as they were just unwrapping all their lunch parts. I'm a freak for chicken salad and this one was one of the best ones I've had in ages. And the focaccia was still warm. My colleagues were saying that they wished the focaccia in their sandwiches were warm, but the boxes came straight from the cooler. The salad was also super tasty. And the portion was PERFECT for lunch. My colleagues' boxed lunches came with a sandwich, salad and a small sugar cookie. They really enjoyed theirs too. And now to the cookie, which I took with for an afternoon snack. HOLY COW! It was incredible. So citrusy and a beautiful texture. I also love that they use fresh cranberries, rather than craisins. Adds a lovely juicy texture to the already soft cookie. Can't recommend enough! For folks who haven't gone, there's maybe 10 tables and only 2 for more than 4 people so keep that in mind if you are looking to dine in.“
