“Hey, Smoothie King corporate, can we please get these poor teenagers some extra help? These two kids, who could not have been older than seventeen, were by themselves, manning the entire store alone. They did a fantastic job, mind you, but I could tell they were swamped and frustrated. That isn't fair at all.
If people don't want to work, PAY THEM MORE, so they stay employed. This is just absolutely insane. Or give these kids the ability to turn off online ordering so they aren't juggling a ton of tickets all at once.
I feel so awful for the staff at most of your stores. It's always one or two teenagers, fighting for their lives for minimum wage or just above.

The owner called me, after hours, to clarify the type of frosting I wanted for the donuts. I didn't realize I needed to submit the order at least 24 hours in advance, but the owner fulfilled the order anyway. The donuts were delicious and my daughter loved them. “My wife and I have been big Scooter's fans for years. That said this location has spotty quality. We have been using this location multiple times a week since it opened. Yesterday my wife received a burrito that had not been warmed up. Today my wife and I both received Mochas that had no chocolate syrup in them. I will be driving a bit out of my way to visit other locations over this one.“
