I got the all you can eat Catfish meal. For $16, including tax, you get an appetizer of fried okra and sweet potato fries. I passed on the fries, but the okra was delicious. Then the main course was a heaping plate of Catfish (piping hot and absolutely delicious!), fries, beans, and Cole slaw, along with hush puppies. It was all fantastic! Last Friday we went to the Old Bank Catfish house in Birch Tree, MO. We were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. AFter we ordered our server brought us a hot bowl of freshly fried sweet potato fries and okra as an appetizer which were YUMMY! Their menu is somewhat limited, but what we had was incredible. If you have ever spent an afternoon with your Grandpa fishing, then you will enjoy the Old Bank Catfish Inn. Nothing fancy but The taste of real catfish fillets and a perfectly seasoned cornmeal coating made me nostalgic.
