My family and I tried the sausage skillet bowls on the “Tasting Pass” at Silver Dollar City at Buckshot’s Skillet Cookery during the Old Time Family Christmas Celebration this year. Even though it was a smaller portion, it was STILL enough for two! The regular portion could probably feed three! For park food, I thought it was good, but my Family Feud succotash skillet did not look anything like the picture on the menu. Overall I enjoyed my meal however. My mom had the turkey leg and it looked and tasted very good! The line was very long (true everywhere in SDC today) and moved very slowly, wander if they might have been short-staffed.

The Harvest Skillet is one of the tastiest dishes at the park. Having the wax beans along with the green beans reminds me of Grandma.We seldom got those pale yellow beans and were so glad she grew them.The ham in it was fantastic. Thank you Shirley for creating these skillet meals!
