“This was the first Lion’s Choice I ate at probably around 40 years ago. This particular spot has always been my favorite although I frequent many St Louis area locations. “The McAlister’s Club with steamed broccoli and an Arnold Palmer (sweet tea + lemonade) is my cheat code for a solid lunch that feels like a treat but doesn’t leave me sluggish. The sandwich is always stacked just right — fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, crispy bacon, tender meats, and the cheddar/mayo combo is on point. The steamed broccoli on the side makes me feel like I halfway made a healthy choice 😂.

Plus, when I don’t feel like cooking or waiting in long lines, this is my default. Hits every time.
