“Drive-thru is quirky. Not their fault. You can't go through the gas station parking lot like you would think. You turn into where Panera is and go to the back of the strip mall buildings and by the nail salon you can easily see the sign and drive through window. I made the mistake before of just driving through the strip mall and saw the Jimmy John's in the corner but it was a walk-in door. I'm sure there's rules against it or they would have done so but it would have been nice to have arrows and signs in a couple of places – unless I missed it. With traffic I missed the main entrance on the North side that would have made things much simpler. Now that I hunted it down I can find a more direct route. Maybe post a map on the Google Maps comments to show the way into the drive-thru would help? And the order taker was fantastic amazing friendly helpful. Great experience. From the drive-thru LOL“

“This place is adorable. The worker was friendly. They really made the most out of the little space that they had. It’s a fully functioning Subway, so all the food is pretty standard. I went on a weekday with one friend, so seating inside was nice. There’s room for 2 tables of 2 inside, and 2 tables of 3 outside, which is really the best they can do. Overall, it’s a convenient sandwich shop to stop by!“

“This Whole Foods is the best one I’ve ever been to as a vegan! They have everything you could possibly want :) Plenty of hot bar options, too (vegan chili, a seitan dish and tofu to name a few.) I must recommend unreal snacks and uncle eddy’s vegan cookies! and beyond burgers if you’ve never tried :) they even have kite hill ravioli which is hard to find!“

“Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was located right next to my eye doctor, so my Mom and I decided to have lunch here. The staff were friendly and the owner was front and center, in front of the register. I chose the BLT and my Mom got the Homemade Turkey. I liked my BLT and my Mom enjoyed her Homemade Turkey, but she noted that the turkey was a bit too dry for her tasting. The bread was super good but almost a bit too filling since it’s a soft white bread. We would come back though because it was somewhat affordable and very clean inside.“

“They claim to have the best gyro in Saint Louis, and I agree with them 100%!!! First of let's talk about the meat, most places give you a relatively small portion of the lamb/beef mixture, not here, they load it up, you know, the way it should be. And the tzatziki is amazing, it has a slight sweetness to it that is just perfect. Add on to that the rewards card they give you for a free gyro after purchasing 9, no brainer!! I gladly drive 10 miles past numerous other gyro stops when I want a delicious work of art.“

“The server was down for most of the St.Louis locations and the pickup order I thought I had placed using a gift card didn't go through, so it wasn't ready when I got there. They tried to work with me and Amanda patiently tried to get it all entered for me, but it wouldn't go through correctly. The manager made it right by taking care of the bill and letting me know that they want my business and knew I had been waiting and had ordered it through the app. Amanda later came back to my table to check on me. I wish I could take off only 1/4 star because it’s not a huge deal, but that can be a hit or miss for people and everyone makes mistakes. Since I can’t it’s staying at a 5. “We recently used McAlister’s catering for a luncheon at the Bridgeton Recreation Center, and overall, we were very happy with the experience.

I had to call the 800 number to place the order, but it was surprisingly easy to get through to someone and get everything set up. We were tax-exempt, and that process was also very simple. I just had to send an email with the information, they sent us an invoice, and then we called to make the payment. Easy peasy!

We requested delivery for 10:45 a.m. and they were about five minutes late, which was enough of a delay that I went ahead and called to check on the order. Thankfully, the driver arrived shortly afterward. The delivery itself was a little chaotic, though. The driver was in a personal vehicle, and when she opened the trunk, a few of the lunch bags fell onto the ground. We had several people arriving at the same time, so we all grabbed a bag and helped get everything inside.

I will say that the bags did smell a little bit like smoke, which wasn’t ideal, but thankfully the food itself was fine.

The lunches were delicious! We ordered club sandwiches with chips, a cookie, and of course, a pickle. I also really appreciated that the vegetarian and gluten-free meals were clearly marked, which made it very easy to get the right meals to the right people without having to open everything up and figure it out.

Aside from the slightly late delivery and the delivery mishap, everything went smoothly. The ordering and payment process was easy, the food was tasty, and the special dietary meals were clearly labeled.

We would definitely use McAlister’s catering again for another luncheon. Hopefully next time the delivery is a little less eventful!“

Yes, it's expensive, but it's damn good, especially the classic steak Philly. $15 for a good xtra large. It's all fresh, the steak is cooked and chopped fresh, the vegetables, the fries, the lemonade it's made fresh every morning (I worked there long ago). Worth it“

“I was lucky enough to have Destiny make my sandwich today(Turkey Bacon Ranch). I did not realize how lucky I was until I started eating. Outside of my son being born, eating that sandwich was probably the ten best minutes of my life! Everything about the sandwich was perfect, from the amount of lettuce, cheese, sauce, and bread, the ratio of every ingredient was perfect! When you go make sure that DESTINY is there to make your sandwich!“
