We were just passing through and wanted to eat somewhere besides a fast food chain. Though the outside is not much to look at, the inside is spacious and nicely decorated. The food was served quickly and tasted great. We tried the combo platter and carrot cake. The ribs were a little bit salty for our taste, but they were perfectly cooked. We'd definitely eat here again!
So I'm an out of towner, traveling All day. I totally did not want fastfood. The gal at our hotel recommended Captain Dans. So happy we tried it. The Pulled Pork Baked Potato was the BEST I've ever had, and I'm up there in years. I got to try the Brisket sandwich, also Fantastic! The service was super friendly! Stopped in from out of town, so glad we did! Excellent food and service. Very clean. Brisket and pulled pork were both outstanding, great flavor and very tender. Waitress was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full. We will definitely eat here again when we are in the area.
