The best patty melt I've ever had. My wife had the tenderloin sandwich and it was delicious! Our server was prompt and courteous. We were there at 12:30 on February 8th, 2025.
Old school diner!
Lots of yummy foods at low prices. Server was relaxed and very sweet. I had Coffee, liver & onions with applesauce and that came with a fresh large salad with garden tiny tomatoes and homemade croutons, big helping of mashed potatoes with brown gravy, side of green beans and a large roll with butter/margarine. I ate every bite!
It was a huge feast!
I wanted homemade pie but I was full.
It’s only 30 minutes from Kansas City MO.
Next time pie!

Ok folks. It's 2026. Smoking is nasty. Smoking causes breathing problems. Even though according to Missouri law it's not illegal at this establishment, it's just plain gross. This place would be nearly perfect if they would consider the 88 percent of non smoker's and just change their policy. Those patrons that were in the restaurant smoking don't look like they have many years left.
