“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. It would be great to see more spots like this for added convenience, especially as an alternative to the usual SB options. As always, my coffee and zucchini sunflower seed bread were fantastic. “Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“I love the Baja bowl, but lately it seems they are almost always out of something for it. Today there was no avocado, oh well. But I ordered it with grilled chicken and got no chicken on it :) so I basically spent $12 for quinoa, Greek yogurt and black beans. Didn’t check it till I got home. I still like going to this location…I’ll just double check my order before leaving next time.“

Mario’s has quite a large menu for breakfast and lunch, which made it easy to find something I’d like. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese texas toast, a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, a ham, egg, and cheese bagel, an order of fries, and a glazed donut to go. The texas toast, croissant, and bagel were hot, delicious, and satisfied my itch for a good breakfast. The fries were perfect, they added a nice crispy and batter fried deliciousness to the meal, and the glazed donut made for a wonderful fluffy dessert to go with my breakfast. I highly recommend visiting Mario’s if you’re looking for some breakfast and want to support a small family owned business.“
